Want to sculpt your face but don’t want to spend a ton of time blending? Then I have the hack for you!
All you need is 3 liquid or cream complexion products.
1. A shade that matches your overall skin tone (for foundation)
2. A shade 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone (for contour)
3. A shade 2-3 shades lighter than your skin tone (for highlight)
I used:
- L’Oréal Pro Glow in “207”
- Wet n Wild Photofocus Stick Foundation in “Almond”
- L’Oréal Infallible Full Wear Concealer in “Vanilla”
Lazy Blending Hack💁🏻♀️
1. Apply a thin layer of foundation allover face. (Take some down neck and ears as well.)
2. Draw contour lines on areas of face you like to sculpt. (Ex. Cheek bones, outer forehead, jaw line, nose)
3. Roughly blend those lines.
4. Apply a thin layer of foundation over contoured areas.
5. Apply concealer to areas you want to brighten up or highlight. (Ex. Under eyes, bridge of nose, center of forehead)
6. Roughly blend those areas.
7. Apply a thin layer of foundation over those areas.
Voilà! A smooth, sculpted complexion without all the work of blending out to perfection. Simply cover it up with a light veil of foundation! 💕

This technique is called “underpainting.”
🎨In art, an underpainting is an initial layer of paint applied to a ground, which serves as a base for subsequent layers of paint. Underpaintings are often monochromatic and help to define color values for later painting.
