I love using pure Argan Oil but I’m wondering, does it make sense to buy a more expensive product, like the Josie Maran brand ($49 for 1.7oz) or the Trader Joe’s Version (price depending on store but around $10 for 1.7oz)
❄️I has to test them out so on a cold day I applied the Trader Joe’s product to my right hand and the Josie Maran product on my left hand (with a different brush).
💇🏾♀️I also applied the Trader Joe’s Argan Oil to the right side of my hair, and the Josie Maran to the left side.
🤲🏾 After 12 hours, (about 3 of them being outdoors) my right hand (TJ) was significantly drier than my left hand (JM).
💁🏽♀️ After 24 hours, I did not see much of a difference in effect on my hair.
My conclusion from my little experiment - the Josie Maran is definitely better for skin, but both products are equal when it comes to locking moisture into hair.
