Drunk Elephant has amazing packaging, there is not doubt! I really enjoy seeing the blocky products line up next to each other snuggly. However, the opaque packaging + twisty cap may be good for keeping the products safe and clean…it also doesn’t let you monitor how much product you have left!
👀💰Here’s a trick I may or may not have accidentally learned. (Works on there cube packaging, not sure about the round ones 🤔)
-Close the twisty cap 🔀
-Hold the bottle sideways like you’re trying to break a chocolate bar in half 🍫
-
Use your right (or dominant hand) 🖐🏼 to prevent the cap from twisting and hold down the top half of the cap
-Gently test which side is easier to open ☺️
-Use some force to detach the bottom white shell from the top cap 🤏🏼 and...

LOOK AT HOW MUCH PRODUCT IS LEFT! 👀 (I found this out just before I went to place an order for a new one) I had at least 1/4 left!
-Untwist the bottom half, twist it back on extra tight
-Optional, shake it a few times so the cap can reach the product again
-Put the white shell back on 💁🏻♀️
Boom! Another few weeks of product and a lot of dollars saved! 🤑
Hope you try this next time you think you run out of product!
(Of course, I couldn’t help but try it on my other drunk elephant products!)
