🖤 Back to what I’m wearing:
👗 The most important details I look for when purchasing an item like this are fabric, style, color, durability and size range.
👗 I have a hard time finding clothing that will fit a large bust and pretty average to small everything else so with this dress I ordered an extra large and I probably actually could’ve gone with a large or maybe even a medium because the dress was way bigger & longer than I expected upon reading reviews.
👗 I over estimated the size because I read the reviews and it basically said to size up but I actually think that if you only just have a large bust you should size down unless of course you don’t want it to be formfitting which I would’ve preferred more of a formfitting look because this just just ended up looking like a very long T-shirt on me.
👗 I was also not 100% pleased with the fabric. It states a T-shirt style dress yet the material is made of all polyester which if you wear that for longer than an hour or two it becomes a bit itchy and makes you sweat a lot so I would’ve preferred a softer fabric like cotton or at least half cotton but still very nice dress especially for the price point and the durability I feel the dress has.
👗 I do not wear a lot of dresses and this was a very good challenge for me because now I know a little bit more what to look for overall I think the dress is very cute and I will wear it again I’ll probably just wash it in really hot water to see if it shrinks up a little so I can accentuate the good parts a little bit better!
🤑 The price point for these dresses is phenomenal so I will definitely shop here again only find some thing more my fit.

Q: Are Shein dresses good quality?
🖤 A: i’m gonna have to say yes they are good quality and I do see that they make some dresses in other fabrics this one being mostly polyester it makes the dress more durable so you could basically throw it around sit on it stomp on it get it dirty and the stains are going to come right out and as long as you don’t wear it for a very long period of time or get extra hot and sweaty it’s really not bad fabric just not my favorite. (95% poly 5% elastane)
Q: Are Shein dresses true to size?
🖤 A: For my body type that’s a bit difficult to answer. If you’re a 100% completely average sized and proportioned human being than they would be true to size but I wear a greater size G in my bust but the rest of me is quite average or small so it’s very hard to find a top to fit the bottom so that’s also why I went for the tunic dress.
Q: Are Shein dresses worth it?
🖤 A: 100% yes! This dress is completely affordable for what you’re receiving and I would recommend the company based in that!
Q: What are Shein dresses like?
🖤 A: To me they are like very trendy, very in the now type dresses for ages 16 - 99 but the sizes are not for plus size and I saw several that would not even come close to fitting by bust size due to the type of dress and my preference to not have it all hanging out! If you’re a size 0 to probably 16 there’s a good chance you’re going to find something cute from Shein you can wear as long as you don’t have a very big boobs!
Final thoughts
👋 I would absolutely recommend Shein to my friends and family because the prices are really good their dresses and other clothing they have are very nicely priced and are made from durable fabrics and are definitely versatile. I have shopped here before and purchased swimwear and shorts and absolutely loved everything. The only thing I would ask to be different about this dress if it could be made with at least be half cotton or have some cotton so it’s not so itchy that way I could wear it for a longer period of time; otherwise it’s great for a couple of hours and sometimes that’s all you need especially if you’re going on a blind date!!
