Today I tried out my bf’s skincare products, including this cream exfoliator called ~[Men Exfoliating Cleanser 4 4 Oz For Men](2121070577112064) that I got for him quite recently. ✨
Although Clarins says on the website that this product is a 2-in-1 creamy exfoliating face wash “for men” that deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and refreshes, I think it is a fabulous gentle exfoliating cleanser for everyone!
I bet I’m not the only one who thinks highly about this gentle cream cleanser that actually doubles as an exfoliator, as for now it’s completely out of stock on the Clarins USA website! 😂

You may have read that the founder of Clarins’ sur name was actually “Courtin” instead of “Clarins”.
So how did Clarins get its name? Clarins was a Roman character that Courtin played in a school production. Courtin felt such a connection to the name (and that Clarins was a lucky charm for him) that he named the brand Clarins and later changed his name to Clarins-Courtin.
His family still carries the double-barreled surname today! 🙌😍

❤️I love it because of its unique formula - I’ve not seen a cream cleanser with exfoliating molecules like this
💙 my bf loves it because it doesn’t dry out his skin (because it is a cream formula)
❤️ I love the blue “microbeads” that disappears when you massage them into the skin and the tiny white lava powder that stays and act like “scrubs”
💙 my bf like using it in the shower and says he feels that it does a deep cleanse with the steam in the shower
❤️ a little goes a long way - making it a great deal
💙 we both love the smell which is clean and refreshing with a touch of masculinity (which isn’t “toxic” but rather detoxing 😜)

Clarins Fresh Scrub Refreshing Cream Scrub is a good alternative, equally gentle and of cream texture. It’s $29 for 1.7 oz tube, which is actually a lot more expensive than the men’s version.

☀️it is gentle yet effective
Especially on my bf’s face, since he has dry skin and any dead skin would look more obvious on his face, the scrub did a great job in removing any dead skin cells.
☀️the natural beads are tiny enough so it wouldn’t cause too much irritation. And it’s good for the environment.
☀️it has a refreshing floral scent that’s pleasant.
☀️ I personally love the blue color as it’s my fav color and is visually cooling 💙

We definitely would be buying this excellent cleanser/gentle exfoliator again! Not only for my bf but for myself too, because I haven’t found any similar products. I think it is of great cost performance too given how little you would need to get a freshly cleansed face that’s moisturized, even though Clarins is a high end brand. ❤️🙌
