So during this time of quarantine literally EVERYTHING has changed. But one of things I am thankful for is how quarantine actually changed my skincare/pamper routine for the better!
I feel like before Covid happened and got in the way of life I was constantly busy. At the end of my days I would come home and just lay in bed exhausted, and use my tiredness as an excuse to neglect my skin. I will admit that there were plenty of times were I would just skip my skincare and not give a care in the world.
BUT after quarantine I had more time on my hands. I started to use that extra free time in the evenings to come up with a great routine for myself. And even dedicated two specific days of the week where I pamper myself and do masks and all that good stuff.
Since I started taking the time to focus on my skincare and dedicating more time to myself, there has actually been a huge difference in my skin. It's clearer and more radiant! I also feel much much better! And I have quarantine to thank completely for that!! I will never neglect my skin again!
🌙Nighttime Pamper Routine🌙
💤 Step 1: After washing my body, I like to take the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish Kiwi Seeds and Cool Aloe, and just exfoliate my ENTIRE body. I love this stuff because it's super gentle at exfoliating, it leaves my skin baby soft and doesn't make it feel dry, and the scent is AMAZING. Like if I could only wear the scent of this stuff for the rest of my life, I would be COMPLETELY ok with that👌🏼.
💤Step 2: I use the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Hair Mask! I absolutely love this stuff, and swear by it! It's the only hair mask I've used for a while now. If you have real curly, thick, drier hair, like me, then this will become your most bestest friend!! It leaves my hair moisturized, smooth, and manageable.
💤Step 3: I wash my face with the Paulas Choice Perfectly Natural Cleansing Gel. I like this cleanser because it doesn't dry my skin out like a lot of other ones do! It also leaves me feeling clean and refreshed. And then follow it with the Touch In Sol Mission Complete Scrub.
💤Step 4: Next is mask time!! Mask time is my most favorite part of this whole process. There's two masks that I love using lately. I use the Origins Hello, Calm Face Mask. This one does and awesome job at hydrating my skin. OR if I have some breakouts, maybe from my face mask, I use the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment. When I use this mask, my breakouts are gone the next morning!!
💤Step 5: I will brush my hair and put the Moraccanoil Hair Treatment in my hair. This helps make my hair even more manageable, tames frizz a little bit and leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy.
💤Step 6: I tone with the Paulas Choice Pore Reducing Toner. It really helps with large pores and just helps me feel refreshed.
💤Step 7: I use my Herbivore Bakuchiol serum. I absolutely LOVE this serum. BUT as soon as I started using it, they discontinued it😞. It's quite tragic, really.
💤Step 8: I moisturize my under eye with the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream. Cause even at midnight I want bright eyes.
💤Step 9: I moisturize my face and neck with the Ole Henriksen Goodnight Glow Retinal Sleeping Creme. This stuff is amazing! I love how moisturized my skin feels every morning I wake up.
💤Step 10: Now that my face is done I moisturize my whole body with the Victoria's Secret Coco Lotion and top it off with the Victoria's Secret Coconut Oil Mega Moisture Foam. I love these two together because they hydrate my skin and leave it glowy.✨
💤Step 11: I put on the Burts Bees Coconut Foot Cream and also some socks to make sure my feet get all the product. This leaves my feet super soft.
💤Step 12: Lastly I put on the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I then go to bed with the product on my lips! Wake up in the morning with perfectly hydrated lips!!
🌙That's All🌙
