Most of the time, I go for a look that is not too overstated but makes me feel a little refreshed and ready for my day 😊
This look can be worn for cute dates and day outings ☀️ The main focuses of the look is a soft, smoky eyeliner and the subtle neutral eyeshadow 😊
So here’s the breakdown.... 🥁 drumroll please 🥁
👩🏻 Face 👩🏻
Foundation: Dior Forever Skin Glow (2W0)
This foundation is the first ever “high-end” foundation I’ve bought. It has a light fragrance to it, but it doesn’t seem to irritate my skin and I have some prettyyyy sensitive skin 😅 I really like how light and thin the texture is. Foundation that makes you feel like your clogs are clogged = big ❌. Plus, it has SPF, and who doesn’t like SPF? 😎 That being said, I will admit that I’m not in love with this product, it’s great and all but can be a bit pricey 💵
Concealer: WakeMake (Shade 23)
I got this as a birthday gift from my friend 🥳 and it’s been one of my most used products in my bag! It has a creamy texture and has a decent amount of coverage. I will use this concealer to cover up my dark circles and general discoloration. It doesn’t provide crazy coverage though, and sometimes I have to layer on extra product to cover how dark my undereyes can be 😕
Blush: Burt’s Bees Blush (Bare Peach)
I was actually introduced to this blush by another user, Kachina Xu. As a person who used to never wear blush, this blush helped change my mind and now I wear blush with almost every look! I love this shade because it’s not too pink, but brings some color into my face after foundation washes me out a bit. It’s easy to apply and build too!
👀 Eyes 👀
Eyeshadow: ColourPop I Think I Love You
I used the shades Bel Air and My Type on my eyes. I often do this sort of eyeshadow arrangement with two neutral colors, one being darker than the other. It gives my eyes a little more depth without making it look like I have too much makeup on.
Eyeliner: ColourPop I Think I Love You
I used ‘Let’s Do It’ to create a smoky and soft eyeliner. It takes a good sharp brush to be able to make a clean line, but you can always clean up with concealer if it gets a lil messy 😎 I also blur the top edge of the shadow liner a bit to soften the look!
Eyebrows: Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow (Shade 4)
This has been one of my favorite brow pencils ever! It has a fine tip, so it’s really good for drawing in hair strokes and works really well for natural looks. I do wish it had more product though, and the lead always seems to snap towards the end of its use. I also used ‘Bitter Better’ from the eyeshadow palette to highlight my brow bone for some sparkle ⭐️
👄 Lips 👄
Lip Gloss: ColourPop’s So Juicy: I’ve been looking for a plumping lip gloss in general, and for the price, this product is pretty satisfactory! It does provide a slight tingle for that “plumping” effect, but not as much as I thought it would be. I really like this shade because it doesn’t have too much color and can be used for everyday and simpler looks. It doesn’t feel tacky, but it does come off pretty quickly and I feel the need to reapply quite often. It has a nice shimmer, and it comes in several different shades from nudes to dark plums!
As much as I love coming up with creative makeup concepts, I also like having clean looks that I can wear on daily outings or maybe more professional looks. I’m sure this would be a great look to wear in the workplace, and it can always be toned down more by getting rid of the falsies :) (also please ignore the fact the edge of my falsie is coming off 😬). I hope you all found this look fun and easy to reproduce! ❤️😚
