Hi everyone! Gonna try to wrap up the testing of these products this week! Idk about y’all but the holiday season really wore me out 😅
This is a ~[HD Finishing Powder - Translucent](1902971883443200) from NYX and was in Day 15 of the 2021 advent calendar! I think this type of product is a great addition since it has been very lip heavy so far. Complexion items are hardly ever in a calendar, so it was fun to try!!
However, this powder isn’t for me! I think it would be great for oily skin types, as it REALLY mattifies the skin. I’ve never been an all matte person so it’s just not for me :) I also don’t think it was very compatible with the Fenty ~[Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation](1902971885712384) so I might have to try it again with another type of foundation.
This powder isn’t completely translucent, so I’d say fair to light skin tones can use this one and hopefully there’s options for a wider range of skin tones! In my drier areas, this did get patchy and look white so not the best look over time.
Have you tried this?? Have any tips/tricks to make it work better??
I’m thinking I might use it to set my oily oily eyelids haha
