Trying my samples from a PrismPop Daily Giveaway!

๐Ÿ’งBelif Moisturizing Eye Bomb 5 mL sample (full size is 25 mL for $48)

I have many good things to say about this product. The eye bomb is suitable for all skin types, and it’s purpose is to hydrate, moisturize, refresh, and firm the skin around your eyes. It has a creamy and gel-like texture, and a little goes a long way. You don’t need to use much per each application.

The 2 highlighted ingredients of this product are tiger grass, which soothes the skin, and comfrey leaf, which makes your skin soft and smooth by detoxifying it.

It keeps the skin around my eyes moist for a long time, and I use a bit before I go to bed and after I wake up in the morning. Often my eyes are tired from looking at screens, and they're baggy because I'm a bad sleeper :( I enjoy this product and I think it works well on me - my eyes feel a bit more refreshed. Just make sure that it doesn’t get in your eye!

๐ŸŒฟ I’M FROM Mugwort Mask 30g sample (full size is 110g for $35):

I do quite enjoy a calming, soothing mask, and this one does just the trick! This mask hydrates my skin well, and it soothes irritated areas. The color is slightly unappetizing, but the good outweighs the bad. It has a nice, herbal, earthy scent with small pieces of mugwort creating a jam-like texture. Mugwort has many beneficial properties, known for calming and soothing irritated skin, and it contains many antioxidants. I used this and my skin felt relaxed and hydrated. This is something that I could definitely buy again.

๐Ÿ’– Together Beauty Love Lather Shampoo 12 mL sample (full size is 10 fl oz for $29):

๐Ÿ’œ Together Beauty Day Dreamer Conditioner 12 mL sample (full size is 6 fl oz for $28):

The shampoo and conditioner are adequate. I like the light fragrance of these products, and they are also 98% and 99% natural. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten free.

The highlighted ingredients of the shampoo are apple (soften and condition), baobab (strengthen and protect), and coconut (foam and gentle cleanse).

The highlighted ingredients of the conditioner are moringa (strengthens, reduces dandruff and split ends), tara pod fruit (conditions, antioxidant, UV protection), and sunflower (shines, moisturizes, scalp health, frizz reduction).

I love that both of these products are mostly natural and I feel good about using them. However, these are not my favorite hair products. They’re ok, but there’s not much that’s special about these products. The shampoo works, but it’s not the most amazing and wonderful, and the conditioner also does what it says, but it’s not the best. I’ll give them credit though - it’s not easy creating a natural shampoo that is perfect. I wouldn’t mind buying them again, but I would not go out of my way to specifically buy these products

Final thoughts:

These products are nice to have and indulge in once in a while (not everything is cheap!). I like the eye bomb the best, and I would love it again!

What are you’re favorite products that you enjoy indulging in once in a while?

Congrats on winning these samples! I appreciate your honest reviews of each (especially including their price point). Honestly, I used to splurge on my philosophy products, but they haven't been working for me lately. So I am on the hunt for new products but I am definitely conscious of spending a ton of money on new product that may or may not work for me. Glad to see you had some luck with your samples, though!

Hello! I love these samples! I too won a PrismPop Giveaway! I won a Clinique Moisturizer sample. It was amazing! I love you review. You laid it out nicely. I really like how you added a little personal pieces here and there. It makes reading your articles much more pleasant. My advice for you would be to try to add more pictures. Maybe do the 'Look Post' instead of a regular post? I understand that these were tiny samples so they are hard to photograph in different ways but you could possibly take pictures of you using the products? Or opening the products? If you don't want your face in the pictures, you could just hold the product in your hand or put the product itself on your skin, hand or arm to show us (the audience) what the product looks like, texture and color? It's always fun to see posts that have pictures that tell a story, like explains what your trying to say without words. I know you put your fingers in one picture and had the container opened so that is really eye catching to me. These are only suggestions though. I think your review is wonderful and so are your pictures. I think you have a lot of talent. Anywho, as for my favorite product for indulging once in awhile, I definitely like buying 111SKIN Sheet Masks. The ones I like are like $135 for a set of 5 so I only do it a few times a year. Lol Have you ever tried anything from 111SKIN? They are incredible but expensive. Thank you for sharing this article with us! It's nice seeing your winnings! Keep up the great work and Congrats on your winnings!

When your trying out products it can be pretty expensive, looking for stuff that actually works for each individual, I've tried alot thru out my time, but. The one thats my favorite is Dior. Dream skin capture totale! This my all time favorite. To indulge in, love the way it looks and feels on my face, love what it does for my skin, when I use this, i feel like I'm young again! , ( and my hubby tells me " whatever your using is working" I bout fell over!! That big of a difference, that noticeable lol. It's kinda pricey, but soo with it!! It has a light scent, so won't irritate skin, the bottle is very cute, kind of pump like, creamy substance ( pretty pinkish- orange) lol

Those products look like a good value for a sample

These products look fun! I know they arenโ€™t supposed to be for daily use or a must have, but it would be nice to try once in a while. I want to try the Iโ€™m From Mugwort Mask. At first, I thought it looked pretty weird, but when I read your review on it, I got interested. I have combination skin, and a good hydrating product is just what I need. The eye cream looks very moisturizing, as well as the hair products. Congratulations on getting these! My favorite products to indulge once in a while are the Lancer Rejuvenating Serum and the Garnier Fructis Papaya Hair Mask. The serum helps my fine lines look less visible and hydrates it. The hair mask makes my hair feel healthy and gives it a great shine. This was a great review. I think I might buy the Mugwort Mask one day.

I would love to try these eye products. My wrinkles are always around my eyes so I am always looking for new products to hydrate the skin around my eyes. I am looking forward to trying this product.

Recently I have discovered good k-beauty products that work for my combination, acne prone, sensitive skin. I never used sheet masks and found them out also recently. They are fun to do every other day. Tried 3 brands and my favorite is ITS SKIN, you can find it on iherb or Marshalls and Tjmaxx. Also I discovered NEOGEN rose cleansing water. It has a hyaluronic acid in the ingredients. So satisfying. Cleans my face so well. Every day I enjoy it so much, like I cannot wait until it is time for my skincare routine. However this cleansing water has a rose scent.

Lovely post ๐Ÿ˜..I would love to try these products ... belief and Iโ€™m from Mugwort sounds great ! I am currently using olehenriksen banana eye cream which works great too ๐Ÿฅฐ

  • Tiffany Yuen

The Belif moisturizing eye bomb sounds great! Itโ€™s always good to have something to combat baggy eyes for restless nights. ๐Ÿ’• My favorite product to indulge in once in awhile is the Fresh Rose Face Mask! Itโ€™s a cool gel with actual rose petals in it, and itโ€™s gentle on the skin. Iโ€™m sure it has a different effect on everyone, but on me it moisturizes and clarifies the skin and cleans out the pores! My skin feels so refreshed whenever I use it! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•

  • Susan

I would love to try the belief eye bomb, it sounds amazing. I have been lucky enough to have received a sample of the belief moisture bomb and found it to do a really nice job. Great review!

  • Mags

Belif is so amazing - I highly recommend trying their gel moisturizers! It sinks into the skin and absorbs almost immediately, and it's suitable for all skin types because it's so hydrating! Thanks for sharing your reviews. Glad you found some new things to try and maybe indulge in in the future!

  • Pauline

These products sound amazing and are a bit out of my price range for now. I have used similar product instead and appreciate the posted review for samples of eye balm, masks and shampoos and conditioners from Prismpop.

  • Tonilynn Rosario

    wonderful reviews on your samples.

  • Hallie

I've used Belif moisture bomb before and thought it was good. I haven't tried the eye bomb. It sounds very nice. The mugwort mask sounds awesome to try. I agree about the shampoo and conditioner, it is hard to find natural ones that are amazing.

  • Bonita kasee

  • Erin Taranto

  • Amanda

Loving this review because of how honest the reviewer is with her thoughts. A rare thing to find anymore! Sadly, some of these products as too high priced for me and indulging on them currently isnโ€™t an option. Would love to be picked to try though!

  • Nancy Padilla

Thanks for the review. I love to use the neck cream for Tarte but it can be a bit pricey so I am always checking when they have a sale to stock up on that cream.

  • Rita Whirls

Thanks for all the information. This helps a lot. Great review.

  • Jennifer Brown

I love that you are honest with this review. I don't know how many times I have seen the same thing about a product. I think that Prism Pop is definitely helping us learn how to navigate this issue. Too many people have written a review saying that they loved the product that I am reading about, but don't explain WHY they love it...or they hated it because they had a bad customer service experience. Lol Literally the only reviews I ever see. I know that their guidelines are probably not the easiest when it comes to writing out these recommendations or reviews, but I am most definitely satisfied with the quality that I have read consistently about any number of products. Sorry about that tangent lol I have been on a very long and exhausting skin journey. I feel like I have spent too much on too much...I wish I had the extra money to buy indulging things ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ˜ญ
