touch in SOL Glassy Skin Balm
I love trying out new skincare products, so when I was chosen to try the touch in SOL Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm, I was super excited!
About the product: An ultra-hydrating priming skin balm with a sensationally smooth texture that melts into your skin and creates the ultimate glow that lasts throughout the day.
It's a skin-nourishing formula that helps keep skin hydrated and soothes skin ready for makeup and is formulated with 5 Hyaluronic acids. Not all Hyaluronic Acids are the same. The molecules in some hyaluronic acids are bigger/smaller than others. Sometimes products which only have one type of Hyaluronic acid in their formulas may just sit in top of the skin. The fact that this product has 5 types of Hyaluronic acid means that this product ensures that skin will get hydrated and plump skin inside and out!
The amazing formulation includes, *Squalane (not to be confused with squalene). Despite being an oil, it’s lightweight and noncomedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores. Squalane penetrates pores & improves skin at the cellular level, and it traps moisture while also pulls moisture from the air and it does not feel heavy on this skin.
*Demask Rose Water, contains a high amount of phenolic compounds that have shown to include anti-inflammatory properties. As a result it also helps to alleviate irritation caused by various skin conditions such as acne, eczema, or rosacea.
*Melia Azadirachta Flower (Chinaberry), is used in this formula for its triple action blend of retinol, bakuchiol, and peptides which support collagen depleted skin to target fine lines and wrinkles and loss of firmness. *Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract (Neem Leaf) is used for its ani-acne & ani-aging.
*Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, balances skin.
*Corallina Officinalis Extract, regulates skins oil production.
*Bixa Orellana Seed Oil, used for healing properties.
*Raspberry Ketone, derived from red berries and increased skin elasticity.
*Shea Butter, *Sunflower-seed oil, and *Soybean Oil.
How to use: At the last step of your skin care routine, apply evenly to face as needed to achieve dewy and glowing skin.
Now onto my review. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
First off, let me start off by saying that I ADORE this packaging! I absolutely love how the words are rainbow reflective!
I expected the texture of this balm to be more like a chapstick or vasaline texture, because of the word "balm." Instead, it is more of a lotion texture!
My skin today was like any other day-- sensitive and red, with uneven skin tone.
After applying the balm to my face, my skin definitely felt smoother and felt very hydrated! It also was very cooling, which anyone with rosecea will love.
Overall thoughts: I really like this balm, but I don't know if I would purchase again. It wasn't really anything special to me, and none of the results really struck me. It is very hydrating though, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone with really oily skin. Also, if you are sensitive to scents, I wouldn't recommend either. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
