Is This Essence Necessary?? Skincare Routine Part 5 😍

This skincare routine has DRAMATICALLY improved my skin, especially with acne. Before, my chin and forehead would always have spots. Recently I haven't had a single pimple. All I have left are some really small dots on my forehead from clogged pores. I think my pigmentation from past acne has faded faster because of the products I used.
⭐The fifth step of my routine is ESSENCE. Essence can serve a lot of different purposes, but it's a step to add any extra benfits to your skin. Not necessary at all, but nice to have.
⭐The product I use is Biotherm Life Plankton Essence. Biotherm's whole line uses ingredients from microorganisms that live in the hot springs somehwere in France. This LIfe Plankton is supposed to promote youthful, glowing skin like the fountain of youth. At least that's what the website says lol.
🤑This ish is bougie. Normally $68. I only got it as a gift.
👍👎Would I purchase this ever? Nope. But I do enjoy using it. It feels fancy and extra. It adds moisture but I'm not sure if it contributes to the youthfulness of my skin. I think if I were ever going to use my money on an essence, it would really have to visibly transform my skin. I'm not sure that this does!
Let me know if you've tried any of the products I've used and let me know of your favorite skincare products atm!

Thank you so much for the great review! This sounds like something that I would really like! Right now, I'm using a Snail Mucin essence by Cosrx. I use it after my serums and before my moisturizer.

I thought essence was step 3? After toning?? Maybe I've been doing it wrong? Great video!

As long as it works and helps your skin dont run from the price im in the aging process that scares me .

I need to have a night routine

Cool. I would like to try but I'm afraid that will cause my roseca and sensitive skin to flare up and get angry.

I was thinking about purchasing this from Dermstore, but couldn't find any reviews until yours so thank you so much for posting this.

I use to see Biotherm in a the cosmetic department at many of high end Department Stores like Macy's and Dillards but it disappeared. The price point was never this high. The products were good but not over the top. This sounds very researched ..Plankton ? Similar to benefits from algae and the Salmon Creme we have seen reviewed ? It interests me and I will look into and also check to see if Biotherm has resurfaced or has partnered with another company as Erno Laszlo and La Mer have. Thank you for an honest and very well done review !

I wanna try this product but it’s quite expensive 😔

The product I have been really considering buying is eyelash serum but I just haven't yet

I like the way the bottle looks! Makes it look like a really nice product! I personally really enjoy using toners/essence. I think they feel really refreshing on the skin. One product I would love to purchase but haven’t yet is the Glam Glow bubble sheet mask. I got one to try, and I fell in love with it! It’s really quick, you only need it on for THREE whole minutes, and it does such an amazing job at deep cleaning your face. It feels like it literally takes all the dirt away. And my pores looked much, much nicer after using. I’m only debating because it costs 30$ for only five of them.😔 It’s kind of pricey....but I might cave. They’re really good.

Awesome job I have used different kinds of skincare products from tjmaxx Burlington coat factory and dollar tree and I have found the budget friendly option better and more accessible for those who don't have a lot of money the best ones that I have used are Korean brands and salon brand like advanced clinicals and Freeman and bolero skincare products from the dollar tree I think you should have a budget friendly options that would be easier for you to try have a great weekend and holiday season

I’ve honestly never thought of using a product such as this one, I’ve fought with acne and blemished skin for must of my teen hears and into adulthood, and I’ve found that Mario Badescu products help. I’ve not indulged in the higher priced products but the drying cream, spot treatment, and enzyme toner worked. The Dermalogica scrub also helps during winter (which the full size is 58 but lasts for forever!)

I've been considering purchasing a PMD Personal MicroDerm Pro. I've heard mixed reviews on it, so I'm not totally convinced it would be worth the money.

I have seriously thought about buying this product but can't bring myself to pay $68.00, especially at this time of the year. But reading your review and watching your video, I may very well purchase this after the new year. Thank you :)

Good video. I want to try The Ordinary line. And this video has convinced me to go out and buy it. Thanks

Great vid! I can't really think of a specific product I'm dying to try, but I really want to find some kind of skin care that truly works on aging skin. I am in my 40's now (😭😭) and I'm starting to see the sagging skin and more fine lines/wrinkles. I certainly cant afford botox, so something that works like botox, but cheaper, would be amazing!!
