Social media has made me buy so many products such as makeup products all the way to new gadgets and clothes and shoes I still have these products in my closet and bathroom. i am looking forward to winning this product because i never won any giveaways. but, good luck to everyone

Congrats Donna!!! I'm easily influenced lol! I'm bought so many things after reading reviews on here around that I've lost count. I probably buy 3 products a week after seeing them here first. My favorite would probably be the Melanie Mills Sexy Sampler. I didn't think I was going to get selected for the tester bag so I went ahead a bought a bag anyway from their site. A week later I found out I got selected lol. My daughter is very happy though that she got her own bag! 😊

I bought an art set (it was a gift) and I knew very little about the child it was going to so I wanted to make sure the kit included exactly what she would need, appropriate for her age but still give her some room to grow with her skills. Most of the reviews were very generic...simple, "it's great", "wonderful colored gel pens"....things like that. Then, I stumbled upon a review that really took the time to talk about each of the different products in the kit and how best to use them and for what type of art. When dealing with water color, pencils, chalk, markers, ect., there are a lot of other factors to take into consideration, like the fabric or material you are going to use with all of those color wonders! I bought he art kit and it was the highlight of the gift exchange!

I bought a whole puma outfit the shorts, shirt, sweatshirt and socks smh and they are still hanging in my closet. But I had to have it at that time. I had a lil extra money and said oh yeah I'm going on vacation and I have to have this, well I did go on vacation but I did not wear the outfit. It was toooo hot 😂. That's just what happens in my world. I love the mini mascara because like I've said before as long as I have mascara and lip gloss everyday I'm good

I'll answer right away. Most times as a consumer going way back I should almost always be convinced through social media or the online process to buy. Although with new items we can misjudge a product or item that we should go with sight on the scene. Also, I find samples help to make major decisions which are very helpful and convincing.

    Done! Thank you!

someone on youtube mentioned how luminizing the skin looks when you use the hourglass ambient powder, i like it, wish it was more glossy looking than shimmery. i never bought the becca water powder because i was hoping it will also give a glowy wet look on the face after you set the face with it but when i swatched it on my hands in the store, it instantly mattified it, which i absolutely dislike!

I am not sure where I originally saw PAI skincare rosehip oil, but it was on social media. I was looking for ANYTHING that would help fade my acne scars, and somewhere in the maze that is social media, I found it. I saw posts and read the reviews, and I could not believe how great it actually was! Sometimes, I think people that write reviews feel they have to highlight only positive things about a product. So I am sometimes weary when I see a product that has 5 stars and tons of good reviews. But with Pai Skincare, I myself experienced all the same positive things everyone else did, too! It made my skin look SO much better! It also led me to try more of their products, and they have all been AHmazing! So if you are hesitant to try something, just keep researching it. Life is just too short for bad makeup or skincare products! Happy Friday everyone! Hope y'all have a great day and an even better weekend!! Be smart, stay safe, and maskUP!! xoxoJJ

I look around all the time on on social media, I have seen a few items I want to try, just haven't did it yet.

Usually I see something on Facebook being advertised. If I like what it is, I will then read the reviews and then buy it. I’ve bought a wireless charger that lights up. I’ve bought jewelry, clothing, makeup, and all sorts of things just because I wanted it and the reviews are awesome.

There was one time and mainly online I only get the advice after searching and finding reviewers who give you a clear result of the product as well as reviews on the product from stores I shop at. So with that said, online reviews are my go too for anything new, exciting, and maybe the key to helping whatever I'm searching for. I have seen a review on cupping, as much as I wanted to try this healthy way, old Chinese style medicine but with silicone cups that grab tight on the skin, especially the face set. Helps get the blood circulating, sending oxygen and improves the skin. However, I feel into it and didn't realize it isn't really much of a pleasant product if you aren't too careful it bruises the skin. So the result isn't always as pleasant and even though it felt good, as well as the entire body size ones. It really didn't do much for me. Especially, not having the amount of body weight in an area, well it won't grab very easily or at all. I don't think that I'd go back to using that and actually trashed them after a while, which no results came from. The same with a jade roller. It was great and yet just another task I don't need. There was no difference if I used the jade or my own hands to massage my face. I know it stayed cool, great for the eye area, but the results as stated on a review, were not as grand, as I expected. So that also went in the garbage. I guess, not I know I need to really take the time to think what would I be missing or not have enough of, or is it similar to something that I can do without that tool or product for cheaper. Since, quality is everything, but sometimes it could just be an extra thing to stick on the shelf or in the medicine cabinet and never use again. Therefore, I check reviews still, but I have to make sure to read everything and see if it's really needed or not.

    Congrats Donna🙂!

I always read reviews about everything. I bought the Sunflower ring that Facebook advertised for awhile. I love it! The reviews were on point.

I just got the Chok Chok Moisturizer that I won, tonight is my first time using it, I am not used to a fragrance in my skincare , but it seems to have disappeared after about 3 hours! I am going to give this product a bit of time before I give it a review!

So glad to see a one month review!! It usually takes a cycle of skin cell turn over to see changes, so I like seeing longer term reviews! I love having a skincare routine, especially at night. It helps me to relax before bed. I bought UBeauty Resurfacing Compound after seeing before/after pics on Instagram.... and trying a sample and researching it. I am often inspired by products I see or read about but I like doing a lot of research before buying a product. The only exception might be nail polish lol.

I do a lot of browsing online, especially these days, and anytime I am interested in buying something I read the reviews/comments. I would say that I have been satisfied with about 90% of the items I've bought online whether it's clothes, makeup, items for my son, skincare, home furnishings, etc. When I think about items that I've recently bought online, one occasion, in particular, comes to mind. I was totally disappointed in the products I purchased. I saw the items on a video on Facebook. There were 2 eye shadow pallettes. One was supposed to be a shimmer pallette and the other one was a glitter pallette. They were $15 dollars each. It took me about a week of reading reviews/comments and seeing the video before I ordered it. It took like 2 months to receive my package, and as I mentioned earlier, I was completely disappointed. Neither one was a shimmer pallette, they were both glitter. Of course, I wanted the shimmer pallette a lot more than the glitter pallette. The only difference is one pallette was tiny specks of glitter. I would describe it as the same size glitter specks as the loose glitter you would use for arts and crafts. The other pallette was bigger, circular specks of glitter. Both pallettes were of really cheap quality and they looked nothing like they did in the video. I could've went and bought a Wet n Wild glitter pallette for under $5 and it would have been the same exact thing. Needless to say, I am a lot more skeptical when buying products online now.

I am one of those people who always check product reviews before making a purchase. That way I realize if the product works and likewise whenever I make a purchase, and I can leave a review of the product I do.

  • Fatemah

    I'm interested!!

  • Jesica Dillon

On point. Reviews make me buy products, also a particular brand including certain ingredients.

  • Naf

    Congrats Donna!

  • Nirva

Online reviews are very helpful making decisions. I read eveything from negative to positive and then make desicions. Yes i have bought products that way and made the right choice.
