Good ole soap and water with natural soap. I can and sometimes use toner or a facial makeup wipe to cleanse access or tougher makeup to finally remove. My definition of clean is a good face mask treatment Oh K Mask.
This is my first time doing this! I'm so excited! I don't wear a lot of makeup but when I go overboard, I first use micellar water to take off my makeup, use a foam cleanser, a lemon scrub- peel off, and then moisturize!
Congrats Chatnee Myrick! I have to honestly say I never wear enough makeup to warrant a double face washing. I do appreciate there are plenty of women who do because they really need to though. I don't have a favorite "clean" product but I consider clean products to be ethically made with quality natural products. I really enjoyed today's posts as usual. Thanks PrismPop! Cheers ladies.
I wouldn't be able to try or buy the correct products if it weren't for samples or trys. I just don't have the cash to blow. With trys and samples, I know my hard earned cash is going to the right place.
I use two ways to clean my heavy makeup. First I use cleansing milk to remove all of my makeup. I just massage all over my face them wipe it with cotton. And second I use face wash to remove all the oily ness of my face. I love to clean my face always with cleansing milk.
My process is washing my face using two different products: an oil-based cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser. The first one draws out oil-based impurities such as sebum, SPF, makeup, and impurities, while the second step cleanses water-based debris such as sweat and dirt.
My go to facial cleanser and makeup remover for the past five years has been Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser. This removes all of my makeup including mascara. It includes 1.5% salicylic acid which helps my moderate acne.
I like to use Sephora clay face wash and astringent but before that I use a Sephora zinc makeup remover to take off the makeup then I wash with clay makeup remover and then astringent to make sure clean and then definitely moisture cause can dry skin out.
I use Noxema to take off makeup on a heavy day. We used to use it to remove great paint during plays. We would typically follow up with a stringent to ensure the pores did not remain clogged. Today, I use a facial wipe after the noxema just to make sure everything is fully removed.
