Tatcha Rice Wash - Perfect For Acne Prone Skin?
I have recently been suffering from acne and hyperpigmentation and wanted to try a cleanser that would be effective for my skin type. Thanks to PrismPop, I was able to try this cleanser out and let you all know my thoughts on it.
Claim: The cleanser claims to be a PH-neutral, daily cream cleanser that gently washes away impurities without stripping skin leaving it hydrated, feeling soft, and looking luminous.
It has unique ingredients such as Blend of Japanese Algae and Tatcha‘s Signature Hadasei-3, Rice Powder as well as hyaluronic acid. First Impression: I was really impressed with the ingredients because Tatcha does a really good job at incorporating unique ingredients that are known to be effective and not gimmicky.
Next, the texture: The rice powder in the cleanser makes it feel like an exfoliator but once you start massaging it on your face, it emulsifies into a cream-like texture. I honestly love it because it really feels luxurious, almost spa-like!
Reaction: I was surprised how smooth my skin felt after the washing off the cleanser. It felt like I had just exfoliated my face. However, my skin did feel a little dry so I had to moisturize it quickly. I know I shouldn't but I couldn't stop touching my face just to feel how smooth it felt. 😄 And I had no negative reaction to it whatsoever which allows me to say that it is completely perfect and safe for acne-prone skin! 👍
