You might want to try an in-shower lotion. I have extremely dry legs(I scratch constantly, even while sleeping), and it's one of the only things that help. I do like the Bum bum cream as mentioned below and recently I've been using gold bold rough and bumpy (it's a medicated exfoliating lotion).

Palmers Cocoa Butter line is pretty good especially the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Skin Therapy Solid Jar. Also Shea Moisture Pure Shea Butter (or another pure shea butter brand) can be really good. Another easy one is coconut oil (any brand).

    So cute 😍

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream. Hear me out😂 I know its expensive but you can get it in travel sizes to try before you commit. This body cream did wonders for my skin. I got a travel size and I kid you not I saw a marked difference in my skin. Its instantly hydrating and makes my skin look and feel so soft and plump.

I don’t know where you are experiencing dryness but have you tried Bio Oil? I think It’s great because it really sucks into your skin and then you could layer it with another type of lotion on top for extra hydration.

A very gentle physical or chemical exfoliate to get the dead skin off. Then something containing hyaluronic acid and some ceramides. You also want to make sure when using the hyaluronic acid that you moisten the skin before that way it has some water to pull in. I usually put bottle water in a sprayer to mist on my skin before doing any skincare. It makes a huge difference especially if you are using hyaluronic acid. If you are in a dry climate it means it has no moisture to pull in thus the need to spray water on the skin.I would also avoid anything that contains non-fatty alcohols or Sodium lauryl sulfate. Sodium lauryl sulfate is an ingredient in many cleansers and will strip your skin of the oils it needs. For the face Peter Thomas Roth's cloud cream line is great for dehydrated skin. For the body I really enjoy Sol De JAnerio body wash, and their creams. They even started making their own hand cream and hand sanitizer that doesn't dry your skin out as bad as other sanitizers. Hopes this helps out.

I’d definitely exfoliate and try something with hyaluronic acid in it. Watch lotions with fragrance because it has alcohol and that will cause dryness too❤️

This advice may be super old and late, but when my skin gets dry and flaky I reach for Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream. It's definitely heavy, sticky, and has a bit of medicinal odor to it (though I think they now make an odor-free version) so I don't use it during the day, but rather overnight. My skin is almost always 100% better the next day. It's a product that I think can be a little off putting to some, but it works. I'm not sure where you're experiencing dryness, but this definitely works for the face. If you have problem spots on your body, I think this could work as well, but for overall body use the tube may be a bit small.

I would definitely try not to use a Vaseline type of product. From what I understand, vaseline can dry your skin out even more in the long run. It's kind of just a quick fix. I cab think of somee things to try instead, and a really good one! I recommend trying out Kiehl's ultra face cream. It's sooo incredibly hydrating. I have dry skin, too, and it works really well for me. I find that most moisturizers and lotions that are thick and creamy work really well, unless they have that greasy feeling afterward. I don't like that feeling, though, so I'm sure they're still good. Another really good, especially if you're using it on your whole body, is called Egyptian Magic. It's almost like a vaseline but it's not. It's made from mostly all honey & honey byproducts, like Propolis. This stuff works wonders! I actually found out about it in a magazine, because it's apparently a favorite of a lot of celebrities. Now, the "really good one" that I mentioned I was going to recommend is just pure Lanolin. This stuff is seriously magic! It also reminds me of vaseline, but it doesn't have any of the ingredients that end up drying your skin out even more. It's great. You can find it just about anywhere, and it's really cheap for a large container or tube, too! I would DEF check out Pure Lanolin. I kid you not, this stuff is a cure-all! The only downside is that it's really sticky. That usually bothers me a lot, but after using it and seeing seriously dramatic results literally overnight, it's a really small price to pay! I found out about it once when my lips were so chapped that they were splitting and bleeding. Someone turned me onto it, and I was skeptical, but WOW!!! I honestly tried everyyyyything, but my lips just kept getting worse. So i finally bought the only size tube they had at CVS, which was huuuge, and it was only a couple of dollars. I was shocked. I put it on before bed, lips still cracked up and bleeding. They hurt so bad. No lie girl, when I woke up the next morning, my lips were healed. I'm not even exaggerating. They still were a little cracked, but it was like the cracks closed up overnight! I need to do a review on this stuff, because I constantly recommend it. Sorry for the super long comment! I just HAD to explain how bad it was and how shockingly fast this stuff healed my lips. And they just kept getting better with each use, which wasn't many, because they healed so fast. I HIGHLY recommend buying a big, cheap tub or tube or whatever of Pure Lanolin. You'll save money, time, and your skin will thank you!!!!

Hi Asti I immediately thought hyaluronic acid cream gel. Neutrogena makes a great one. Comes a time when Vaseline will not cut it any more. your skin is very nice. Are you a bit sensitive because Kelly K hit it with the Task Force Nine and you will find it right here on Prismpop. I reviewed it a;long with many others . Excellent cream but i still add a hyaluronic serum before i use any cream.I am very dry and much

For your body? Have you tried exfoliating first? When akin is super dry, it doesn’t always absorb product well. If you are looking for a drug store type product, I like Aveeno. The oatmeal is soothing when I’m super dried out. I tend to avoid products with petroleum last Vaseline since I think it causes dryness in the long run. There’s also a foot cream called Type You thatsfor Diabetic skin care but has worked nicely for my feet and legs. I often buy lotion made with goats milk on Etsy. I like that there are products with just a few ingredients. Another brand that I’ve loved for ,y entire body (and even my face!!) is called SteamCream. It comes in these adorable collectible tins. It has tons of great ingredients like cocoa butter, almond oil, lavender, and oats. The ingredients are fused together with steam, not chemicals, so it has this great texture that just absorbs so well. I also use Biossance Oil (the 100% squalane)... you can mix a bit in with a lotion or cream or use it alone. Also, might be obvious, but drink enough water, don’t shower in too hot water...and if you feel products aren’t helping, see a doctor or dermatologist!

Avon products are available as well as Aloe or Cocoa Butter Lotions. With a lot of sun light exposure these products are necessary for your summer outdoor indoor fun.

I also have very dry skin and I use The Organic Skin Company Task Force Nine Cream in the morning and Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich Cream at night. Both are responsibly priced and work great at keeping your face hydrated. Also, would you mind following me back please? Thanks.
