My Herbivore Skincare Collection
Quick side note!! I just dropped brand new music and would love if you checked it out after this :) I'll put the link down at the bottom... 💕
Herbivore Facial Oils for Different Skin Needs ✨
I've been obsessed with Herbivore products lately, and if you know me, I LOVE a good facial oil, so I decided to try their 3 most popular facial oils in mini trial sizes to get a better feel for how they perform for me.
First off, they are all gorgeous, and I don't undervalue aesthetics when it comes to the products I use. For me, skincare is a form of self care in which I'm spending time with and on myself. Having beautiful products on my countertop makes me feel like a princess 👸🏾
💙 Lapis is the one I use most often. It is a stunning rich blue both in and out of the bottle. To me, it smells like licorice.
I've been breaking out a lot lately due to mask-wearing (not the fun K-beauty kind but you know, the COVID-preventing kind 😷), and the Lapis facial oil has helped calm down my chin and jaw acne.
🌺 Orchid has an intense and dreamy floral scent, which is a pro or con depending on whether or not you want to smell like orchids. Because you will if you apply this oil. Orchid is great for when you want an extra glow, so I use it at the end of my skincare routine before I apply makeup when I'm trying to get that beachy-youthful look.
🦅 I've used Phoenix the least, but it is deeply hydrating and from what I understand, has anti-aging properties. The oil is a deep orange, which I absolutely love. It contains rosehip and you can definitely smell the roses in it.
📆 When I buy a full-sized version - I'll most likely get the Lapis - but all of these oils are beautiful and high quality depending on what your particular skin needs are.
What does your skin crave? Is facial oil an essential part of your skincare routine? Let me know in the comments!
P.S. Click here to check out the new music video for my song "Gaslight" - I would really love if you got to hear it! 🎶
📻 'Gaslight' was also mentioned in this article on NPR's All Songs Considered!! 🥰
Thanks so much, friends! 💕
