My First Ever Tatcha Product! ๐ŸŒพ The Rice Wash ๐ŸŒพ

Hello hello! Once again!
Today I'm bringing to you a great Routine Video with the Tatcha: The Rice Wash and my first impressions review!
First off, I'd like to say, this is my first ever Tatcha product and I have been dying to get my hands on one for the longest!!! I am so happy I was finally able to get a Tatcha product, and boy!! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
Centuries ago Japanese women used to use the milky water from the first wash of rice for their skincare - it would leave their skin soft and luminesce which inspired the creation of this product.
It came in a very sophisticated box, looked almost woodlike (which I clearly didn't care for since the only thing I wanted was the cleanser ๐Ÿ˜…) and the tube itself had the signature periwinkle purple gradient that we know and love from Tatcha products. ๐Ÿ’œ
The first time I used it, the first thing I definitely noticed was that my skin was extremely smooth!
After completing my full skincare routine, I'll be honest - I don't think I've ever felt my skin that soft!
I already have (had) a ride or die cleanser but this definitely topped it and has become my new R.O.D!

The consistency is very thick, making it nice and easy to spread evenly across the face with my hands.
After rubbing it on wet hands and face, a gentle foam is created, not anything sudsy, but enough to seem the build-up of the consistency on the face.
After rinsing, you immediately see a difference in the brightness and softness of the skin!
I usually use a sonic cleanser for washing my face, but Lord knows where I left it, so when it shows up I will definitely try it that way and see how it makes my skin feel and if my skin reacts differently to it as well since a sonic cleanser does a bit deeper of a wash.
Skin Type - This cleanser is mainly meant for Dry and Normal Skin, but my Combo skin absolutely loved it!
Gentle ingredients like Japanese algae, left my skin feeling comforted, & nourished; hyaluronic acid that helps skin look smooth and plump with hydration; and Tatcha‘s Signature Hadasei-3 which restores a visibly healthy, youthful-looking radiance.
My skin has had zero breakouts due to a new product.
It does have a fragrance to it, which I can only describe as smelling green (think herbs, trees, woody, foresty)

Another thing I am very happy about with this Rice Wash is the fact that it is clean, vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free!
Ever since first getting it I have been using it daily and plan to repurchase once I have finished this tube- that's how much i love it!

It is available for purchase at Tatcha.con and in Sephora for $35.

The cleanser worked perfectly on my combo skin too! I love the way it leaves my face feeling so soft afterwards. This cleanser is also one of my new favorites and I also plan on repurchasing!

Great video and review! I have that same head band! Lol I personally donโ€™t mind fragrances in my skincare. Just as long as thereโ€™s not a much of essential oils and unnecessary things in it. Definitely gonna give this product a try ๐Ÿ™‚

I've been looking up ways to brighten skin and rice always seems to be a big ingredient so I'm super intrigued by this product. I'm excited that you saw immediate results with brightness and softness with this product.

Great video and review ๐Ÿ‘! Good that you have found a cleanser that you love. Often times we get a bad reaction, but I haven't seen any that it disagreed with. Thanks for sharing.

Great demo on how the product works. I love this rice wash, it leaves my face so soft, and with a nice glow, on the other hand it can be a tad drying, rice is a very effective astringent both products made with rice water, and rice flour, control oiliness and help get rid of acne and blemishes, also has whitening properties, therefore it's an amazing clarifying, and helps with dark circles, I'm leaning more towards a combination/dry reason why I don't use this product on a daily basis, but as soon as I apply serum and moisturizer my skin achieves it's balance, I always try to buy this product on sale. Thank you for a great post and demo!

Nice video tutorial. I like how you have used the picture with rice. Interesting, I thought it was for oily skin. I like green and herb like scents. Your skin does look softer after usage of this product.

  • Rukhsana

video visibly shows the face to be from dull and then alot brighter. looks softer too, will only know how it works my acne prone skin if i had been given this product to test and review step by step.

  • Jill

This cleanser looks great! I do wonder how it would work for acne-prone or sensitive skin since it's fragranced

Great video and review. Very nice informative outline. You didn't miss a thing. I've never tried a rice wash but I am wanting to badly. I have normal to oily skin and right now I'm using an apricot scrub from St. Ives. It's good too.

I am a true believer and deep cleansing products like scrubs. They are the most affect but some of them do dry. If they do you should not use anymore. I like everything about Tatcha rice wash. Great review for you. My best cleanser has been Neutrogena bar but I found natural soaps don't dry out your skin. Want to try a trial size of rice wash.

  • Mary

great review I'd give it a try

Glad to hear your combo skin liked it. I would really like to try, but the only thing holding me back is the price tag! ๐Ÿ˜• I've been using the Dermalogic Daily Microfoliant because I got it free and it is so great!

  • Sayeri

Cute video ๐Ÿ˜ and nice picture with the rice background rice ๐Ÿš ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ... I generally use a silicon scrubber with face wash which is gentle to the face and also good for blood circulation and the feeling of satisfaction ๐Ÿ˜….. I have used rice wash many times when I was in China .. and also in US .. they are great ... I have used the face shop and skin food brands.. but I would love to try Tatcha next ๐Ÿฅฐ

  • Prerna Agarwal

This cleanser seems to be popping everywhere it seems. Really nice review. I am a very dry skin gal and need all the help I can get from cleansers to not dry out my skin. This does look to be a very good option. I have also heard that rice water is good for curly hair too.
