DIY Blonde to Purple Hair using Manic Panic at home πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ€

Using Manic Panic Ultra Violet to go from Blonde to Purple!
Being stuck in quarantine I definitely have been bored with my hair. I had my boyfriend bleach my hair (I'll do a video on that) but not before I had several other failed attempts at lightening my hair. So at this point, my hair was a little fried and in an attempt to cover it up I decided to buy Manic Panic and add some color and life back into my hair!
You can purchase Manic Panic on Amazon or Sephora for a very reasonable price. Did I mention Manic Panic is vegan and cruelty-free? 🐰❀️
I used two bottles of Ultra Violet because I have really thick hair and if you want this to work you definitely need to saturate!
Warning this will leave a mess if you are not careful! So make sure that you use gloves and use a shirt you don't care to ruin!
I left the product on for 3 hours because I knew that this conditions your hair, so I didn't mind leaving it on for as long as possible and also for the color to stick better.
After rinsing it off I definitely feel that my hair is a lot softer and the purple covered up my split ends pretty well. Overall I was surprised by this product because for what it's worth the results were great!
I've had this for a few weeks now and it took a bit for the purple to fade. It lasted longer than I expected!
Another use for ultraviolet is to fix the bronze in your hair from bleaching. If you mix this product with a lot of conditioners and then leave it on your hair for 30 min to an hour. It does significantly reduce the bronze in your hair without damaging it as toning chemicals do.
Have you ever colored your hair? Let me know your experience or if you have any other tips! ❀️
...BTW the song used is by me! It's called Solita and you can listen to the full song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH9ba747iX0
Thank you!
