LA Colors Truly Matte Foundation
This is the LA Colors High Pigmented Truly Matte Long wear Foundation Shade Natural. The shade can tend to be really light with one layer a little darker with two layers and it matches me pretty good. Now, this claims to be High Pigmented but to me this is not High Pigmented but at the same time it is a little more pigmented than some other drug store foundations that I have tried. This foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump. I really like the bottle having a pump because it easier to travel with. I bought it at Roses for $5.00 so it is very affordable. The formula really doesnt have a scent to it which is nice. The consistency of it is a little thick but as it warms up on the back of my hand it melts just a little. As I apply it it does not feel moistorizing at all it makes my skin feel dry. The formula is easy for me to blend out. I do have to wait for it to set completely before I can blend out my blush or it just a hot mess. I can't put much powder or it's a hot mess. It does last all day long. I found certain primers makes this foundation worse and certain help keep it from cracking or creasing and sinking into fine lines and for me with dry skin it does all these things without a primer but keep in mind that I have dry skin so this foundation is better for someone will oily skin but if you have dry skin and you moistorize really good before applying this foundation and play with primers and find which primer works best for your skin and this foundation and then it does work ok but nothing wow about it. For me it is the First Aid Beauty Hello Fab Pores Be Gone Matte Primer. As for coverage it is hard sometimes to get it to cover my Major redness but it does cover some redness that is miner but not the major redness like I have.
