Inspired By Fruity Pies! Adding Subtle Color to Your Summer Makeup
Fruits are the summer must eat! Homemade pies with fruit and a side of ice cream are a great choice as summer slowly turns into fall. Here’s how to add subtle color to your makeup this season. These makeup looks go with most outfits!
Look 1: Deep Cherry Pie
This was by far the simplest of them all. I used my regular foundation, concealer, eyeliner, and eyebrow products, and used the Givenchy Le Rouge lipstick in Mandarine Bolero for the cheeks, lips, and eyeshadow!
Look 2: Strawberry Pie
Strawberries tend to be a little lighter in color than cherries, so I added a bit of cream in in the inner eyelid. For the eyes, I used a cream colored shadow from the Smashbox Shapematters Palette, and both an orange and scarlet colored shadow from the Pop Beauty Lightshow Eye Palette. On the lips, I used the same Givenchy Le Rouge lipstick in Mandarine Bolero from Look 1.
Look 3: Apricot Pie
For this look, I used the BH Cosmetics Desert Oasis palette on the eyes. On the inner corner of the eyes, I used the shade “Terrain,” then moved to the shade “Heat Haze.” For lips, I used two Lancome Le Monochromatique shades and a Pixi gloss. First, the brown shade “Oh La La,” then the pink shade “French Affair,” and last, the Pixi x Chloe Morello Lip Icing in Candy. For blush, I actually used the “Heat Haze” eyeshadow shade!
Look 4: Blueberry and Peach Pie
Why not mix two fruits up, right? Blueberry and peaches don’t just go great together in desserts, the shades look super in the same makeup look too! For the eyes, I used Lancome Le Monochromatique in Mademoiselle, and then applied the dark blue shade on my Colormates Palette on the outer corner of the eye. On my lips, I used a Bobbi Brown lip liner in Chocolate, and spread my Lancome Le Monochromatique in Mademoiselle on top, as well as on my cheeks.
Hope I didn’t make ya too hungry!
