Get The Look: Easy Breezy Sea Eyes

It’s summer, and I don’t know about you but all I can seem to think about these days is sitting on the beach and staring at the gorgeous ocean. Inspired by the pretty colors of the water, I created this ocean/sea eyes look that uses two different palettes: one from ColorMates, and another from Pop Beauty.
I started with The ColorMates Flower Bouquet Palette. This isn’t as easy to find nowadays, but there are still several like it on the market. Essentially, you’ll just need to use a lighter shade of a color between green and blue, popularly known as seafoam or candy apple green, first, on the inner corner of the eye. Then, use a color that is a little closer to sour apple just beside that.
I then brought in my Pop Beauty Lightshow Eye Palette. I used a dark, sensual, glittery jade shade on just a tiny portion around the top of the eye, followed by an extremely dark teal on the outermost corner of the eye!
After the shadow was finished, I did a subtle wing that wasn’t super defined (using Clarins Crayon Kohl) to make it look more natural (after all, we are channeling one of nature’s natural beauties). Lastly, I applied just a few brushes of Clarins Supra Volume Mascara and I was good to go!

What a beautiful look. I love the color with the small wing add on. The color really brings out your eyes as well. Thanks for the great review. I'm going to try my own version of this look. I have a green eye palette that is much too green by itself.

This look is absolutely gorgeous! I love tour eyes they are dreamy pretty and that color and tone is great on you! As for pool day I usually put on spf but I use tan oil to try and get a tan! After I usually take a shower and moisturize and that’s about it for that! But great color choice and gorgeous look!

Gorgeous as always!! Love the color! My daughter says you have mermaid eyes lol! As for the daily questions? I burn easily so I always have to put on sunscreen with a strong SPF. I also make sure I bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Afterwards I like to put on aloe vera especially on my face. I do this even if I managed not to get burned.

I love that color! I'd definitely try that!

That looks amazing. I really love how it all blends nicely together. Do you have any tips on which is a good brush to blend or is it easier using your finger?

Oh wow ,I would love to try this ,looks like it would really make your eyes stand out. Even though I prefer browns for my blue eyes ,but this is an interesting color.

I am a big fan of greens because they make my hazel eyes look better and I really like the shades of it here plus they look good on you here.

Beautiful Ocean eyes. Perfectly applied and detailed. Picture perfect. I tend to get lengthily so I will cut it short. Funning in the sun with Banana Boat's UltraMist Protective Dry Oil, SPF 15. Castor oil spray on hand always ! And my lips are coved with high spf balm ! Super review Thank you for your very professional take on makeup application ! I learn something new from you each and every time.

This is such a great look on you! I feel like my eyes are to light to do these colors so I absolutely love them when others do it💗 I also love the smudge of eyeliner, like it's not a good wing and all the focus is on the pop of color! Beautiful

  • Micheala

I really like how you did this it's a really good blend and looks great on you

  • Pauline

Real nice post and pic's for Pop light shadowing for eyes. Like the crayon and mascara used in this review too. Want to try this look!

Beautiful! I prefer natural but on special occasions I’ve tried “evening” looks before. I always used a tutorial and it never comes out like the pictures lol. I usually (out of frustration) decide to simply use cool colors and lightly dust my lids, add my mascara and be done with it. I’ve tried a few multi color or blended looks and they didn’t give me the result I desired, (I’m not very savvy). The way you explained seems so much easier and the result is gorgeous! I’m going to give it another try Thank you for rekindling the desire to learn this technique.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing skills. I'm definitely going to have to work on my application skills. I'm still in the 90s where one color one swipe on the eye lid AND I'm good to go. I've never been able to get the pretty smoky eyes or even apply more then one color and I'm always wanted to just couldnt get it to look like it shows in every one else that does it so I gave up!!! Thanks for the beautiful review
