Fall Eyeshadow Look

Fall Eyeshadow Look

I have been experimenting with new eyeshadow looks. My eyes have changed in the past few years. The grandma eyes are beginning to show their age. My lids have become very hooded. I have been watching videos and tutorials trying to find what works.

This look is done using Fergie Wet n Wild.

I used the light green, third from the left, on the inner corner of my eye. The fifth from the left green, for the center and the sixth in the pallet for the crease and outter corner. The crease color was started at mid brow and applied just above the natural crease to compensate for the hooded lids. I was going for an ombre effect.

I also used a Colormates black brown eyeliner pencil, to line the outer half of both the upper and lower lid. Then smudged with the darker of the three greens. The look was finished off with L.A.Colors Waterproof Mascara on the lashes.

Very pretty Jaxgma those colors look great with your eye color. My eye lids are hooded also & I never wore much eyeshadow untill just recentlly. It's hard to get that crease down. Practice makes perfect...yea it's gonna take me a while to get the look right.

I know for me, the older I get(I just turned 57 in June) I avoid any eyeshadows that aren't matte. In my opinion frost, glittery, etc only accents any sign of slack in skin on my eyelids and when I use matte eyeshadows, it just goes on easier and looks better๐Ÿ’œ

Looks great! Thank you for the tip on hooded eyelids. I too have hooded eyelids and find it difficult sometimes to apply eyeshadow bc it barely shows. Definitely going to try this approach!
