Doe Lashes | Best Natural Falsies for Hooded Eyes

I personally have hooded eyelids, so finding the right lashes has been pretty difficult. Lashes that are too long or heavy tend to look super fake and feel uncomfortable. So I'm constantly on the look out for good falsies. I've done semi permanant eyelash extensions before, but it's not good if you do that too often plus it can be very pricey.
Recently, I decided to give Doe Lashes a go and was super impressed!
Company Overview: Doe Lashes focuses on creating the most lightweight and comfortable lashes. All lashes are made with Korean silk and cotton bands. The lash cotton band is cut at the thickness that allows it to stay in shape after over a dozen wears while keeping our signature weightless comfort. They want their lashes to be worn as everyday lashes - you'll forget you're even wearing them! You can wear and re-wear these lashes to up to 15 times if you take care of them!
They have a quiz on their website that you can take to find the perfect pair(s) of falsies for you. I wanted something on the more everyday/natural side so I bought a set of three (which you get 20% off for a pack of 3). They also have 2 different starter packs, both with of 5 pairs (choose either Subtle or Glam for your 5) for 50 each. They also have build-your-own bundles to save a little coin.
I will now review the three lashes I got in order from most natural to natural glam:
1. Really Really Lowkey (3mm to 7mm): these are my favorite out of the three because it really is the perfect length and weight for my eyes. Makes a huge difference when wearing them, but still looks natural.
2. Cloud 9 (3mm to 10mm): This one is a tad bit longer than the previous one. I usually wear these when I want my lashes to stand out a little bit more, but still, want that natural look. Oh, did I mention that I don't even wear eyeshadow when I wear these lashes?
3. Fairy Dust (5mm to 12mm): This is one of their newest lashes. I bought it partially because I loved the name. I would say this one is more on the glam side, suitable for a date night. When you want something a little more dramatic (to go with eyeshadow look) but still subtle.
4. Morning Dew (5mm to 10mm): This one was sold out during the time of my purchase but I definitely want to try this one next time I shop for lashes. I like how its longer at the ends and shorter in the front, give a whispy natural feel.
Overall, I'm in love with the quality and effect of Doe Lashes and would 5/5 recommend to anyone looking for a new set of lashes!
Did I mention you can add a cute baby blue lash applicator for only 2$ at checkout as well?

I have to check this Company out!!! I have never heard of them until now. I am someone who loves false lashes but have a hard time finding good quality pairs, i too also have hooded eyes. I have tried Spoiled Cosmetics lashes. They are super comfy and affordable. They have everything from simple to super glam. I have heard amazing things about Daisy's Baddest lashes. Both of these company's are Indie brands on Social media. There is also Sugary Cosmetics, also an indie company off of social media

Good review and I need these because my lashes are skimpy and could use something extra to fill them in.

Awesome post Zhangsta. You look beautiful. I learned so much from all the information you gave. I've never tried falsies but I would like to some day. I'm in my 50's and my eyes are getting more hooded every year. You did a great job sweetheart. Thank you

I have never tried false lashes. Have never had the need to. I was blessed with long lashes. They are strawberry blonde, and very hard to see...however, when I put on mascara, they look AMAZING!

Thank you for the post. It is very useful. I love false lashes that are easy to handle and are soft. What I look in for a great lash are that they have to be long and thick but also natural looking and easy to apply.

I love this post it is so helpful for me I have hooded lids too ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป and I cannot wear heavy eye makeup or big thick lashes as it will look weird ๐Ÿผ I just use thin eyeliner on top eye lid and bottom corner with little wings ! I have dark black eyelashes but they are straight so sometime I do use eyelashes and I like to use very fine and light natural looking ones ... thanks for mentioning the brands to search for ..next time I will try these ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ

This looks amazing! I like using the individual lashes to add some volume as my lashes are long already.

I agree that the Really Really LowKey is the best set. This would likely be what I would use too although in the past, I always liked the wispy look with short inner eye and longer edges to give a cleaner elongation to get that traditional almond look.

I'll have to try this! Looks great! For my lashes I use 4D mascara from Younique. It makes them longer and fuller. I also for an everyday look like to use pinks with a little shimmer for a more natural look.

Doe Lashes for me are the minimum look on 3mm/7mm. I would have to try these on me or see them on. Everyone's fit on is different. I have worn lashes before with great success. Want to see more about Glam Starter Pack. Your photo pic's are unavailable to the screen full photo's are all cut off. Let me know if you are having trouble with this on your end.
