The BEST WAY to Remove Makeup, based on skin type 🧼

Hey PrismPop! In this video, I'm going over the best ways to remove your makeup, based on your skin type. Whenever you are taking makeup off, mask sure you are using the double cleanse method! The three options are great first step cleansers, but should always be followed up by a water-based cleanser after to truly wash your skin! πŸ§–πŸ»‍♀️
πŸ’™ CLEANSING BALM: πŸ’™
🧼 My personal favorite of the three!
🧼 Super similar to cleansing oil, that's why I didn’t make it a 4th option. The only difference is texture, balms are thinner and easier to wash off, but oils can be more hydrating.
🧼 I know putting oil on your face van be scary, but remember, ‘like attracts like’ so the oil will pull off excess oils in your skin and in your makeup, so it clears in away and prevents clogged pores and breakouts.
🧼 PRO TIP: I like to rub my fingers back and forth over my lashes because it helps to remove that hard to get mascara
🧼 REMEMBER: it’s ok if there is a little balm leftover on your skin, your second water-based cleanser will wash it away!
πŸ’™ MICELLAR WATER: πŸ’™
πŸ’§Anytime I go camping micellar water has saved my life, it’s also great for traveling because different waters around the world can affect your skin differently.
πŸ’§ PRO TIP: Hold the cotton rounds over your eyes for a few seconds before wiping, it helps break down that stubborn mascara
πŸ’§DOWNSIDE: If you are using cotton rounds every day, you are creating a lot of waste. I recommend buy some reusable cotton rounds you can just throw in the washing machine with your laundry! I got one off of Amazon.
πŸ’™ MILK CLEANSER: πŸ’™
🧴 FUN FACT: Milk cleanser can be used on dry skin as a makeup remover, followed by a water based cleanser, OR can be used as a second step cleanser after micellar water or balm.
🧴 If you have super dry skin, I def recommend using the cleansing balm, milk cleanser combo!
🧴 PERSONAL OPINION: Sometimes I feel like milk cleansers don’t do as good of a job getting off your makeup as the other two options, so I usually only use it on no makeup days (you should still double cleanse to wash off sunscreen) or lighter makeup days!
🧴 PRO TIP: While this is great for sensitive skin, if you struggle with acne, you will probably need to stick to something with stronger ingredients

Love this! I just got the Farmacy oil cleansing balm and I am so excited to see how that does with my skin. I have such dry and dull skin so I want to make sure that I bring the hydration out! I also use Cereve Hydrating Cleanser for a double cleanse and am in love!

I think these are great products to use if you have full coverage of makeup! Personally I use minimal makeup and will use a single cleanser to get my face clean .

Great review πŸ‘. I have dry skin and I presently have a skin routine. I would be willing to try another one though. My daughter uses the micellar water to take her makeup off n it works pretty well for her so that is what I would try first if I were to switch. Thanks for sharing.

I have always been attracted to milk cleansers or similar, I simply love their milky consistency. Nice video, thanks for sharing. My skin is dry and so I like using anything gentle and not that would result in over drying my skin, that could be any gel like or milky cleanser.

I have used CBD infused beauty products before. I have used a Body Shop face mask infused with CBD. I've noticed that skincare products infused with CBD are usually better at calming my skin than other products.

i have used cbd infused oil serum for back pain. i think its more of a mind thing. i dont think its of helps much. its just soothing, not curing. my skin type is very pale and sensitive. little breakouts .. hormonal.. diet.. my prefarred makeup removal is wipes, then face wash and toner.

Like the cleansing balm in the jar does to remove all that eye makeup. Of course followed by Micellar Cleansing Water is just fine to get the rest off. Nice video teaching us all the lesson plan. Want to try this method and all the products used in this review.
