My 3 Summer Hairstyles for Shoulder-Length HAIR 🤩

Hi beauties its starting to get really hot here in San Diego and I cut my hair short to cool off! Maybe it's not that short to you, but I usually have hair down to my waist, so this is really short for me!
At first, it was a little harder to keep this shorter hair out of my face, but I've played around and found some cute hairstyles I like that do just that!
I'll show you my fave 3 at the moment ☺️
First off, I gave my hair some volume with my curling iron (I don't know the brand, but any would do!) Whether or not you've got natural waves/curls, you can skip this step if you like.
1st Style 💕 Side Braids
I love having just a little something in my face, maybe so I know I'm not working out or something 😂 for this style, I like to leave two little front pieces out to frame my face. Then, I created two braids on the sides😍 ...then I secured it all together in the back with an elastic and added a cute scrunchie for more of a cute and romantic look ❤️👌🏼
2nd Style ✌🏼💕 Hair Clip & That's It
For this look I went back in time to the 90's! This time with a modern hair accessory 🎀
I've been loving securing my hair in the back with a cute hairclip, it's so easy and it's done! 😘
3rd Style 🤩  Half Pony FTW
And for the last hairstyle, I decided to go with a half pony, these are so easy and help keep me cooler in the heat 💕
I've been loving half ponytails, I think they look so adorable in any hair length, but definitely for short-haired people, especially if you can't make a full pony quite yet!
Add a cute scarf scrunchie to add a flair of your style 😍
Those are my 3 go-to cute hairstyles for my short summer hair!
What's your go-to hairstyle for summer? Do you have short or long hair? 💕

Nice review and I'm going to try the first two you showed but I have done the 3rd one lots of times before. The second one may be tricky since my hair hasn't been cut since the covid started it is 3 inches above my waist.

I usually add a headband to keep the hair out of my eyes when sporting the ponytail.

Great styles! All three look absolutely amazing. Quick and easy but adorable. My go to beach hair is usually pulled back with a cute but inexpensive hair clip and/or head band. A pony or braid works for me as well. My makeup routine I go light and easy a good moisturizing foundation with SPF, waterproof mascara and a tinted lip balm with SPF as well. Gotta have that protection!

Nice hair eh! I love all the hairstyles on you. Thank you for sharing. My go-to beach hair style is to put it in a ponytail. I normally use hairpins and a hair band. I normally use a comb basically to keep my wavy hair natural. My low effort high impact makeup products include Bare Republic sunscreen with L'Oreal Paris mascara and Beauty Blender foundation.

Those are all really cute! I really liked the second one! Anyway, my go to beach hair style is either a ponytail or bun. I don't do well in heat and I have long thick hair. So I always have to have it up during the summer. Although lately I have also been doing a cute simple side braid. My low effort, high impact make up product would probably be either my 4D mascara that make my lashes look amazing or any lipstick/lip gloss. Those both are an easy one step and make a sure difference in your final look. Hope everyone is having a great day! Take care and stay safe!

I have super long hair past my waist so I am always on the hunt for really good hair products. I love to shampoo and deep condition my hair and then spray with the Alterna CAVIAR Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Priming Leave-In Conditioner after towel drying. Once I have done all this I brush through and let air dry once it’s just about dry but still just lightly damp I will do a few french braids and leave overnight. The next day I will take the braids down and just run my fingers through my hair and end up with beauty beach waves that really didn’t take much to achieve ♥️

Ny favorite hair style is the 2nd one. It looks pretty, quick and easy to do. Looks elegant. Thanks for the tips. Gonna try them all.

I love love love the braid look! For some reason it reminds me of a hippy vibe. So cute! Love all of these hair styles, but the braids are totally killing it!!

  • Asti Custard

My absolute favorite is to see messy buns and looking so cute tons of cute ones but I cant ever get one to look good lol

  • Asti Custard

I love this review!! And I'm hair down to my butt and still do these haha!!!

Love all the hair styles! The scrungies are super cute! I have long hair and my go to summer style is air dry curls! Going into the pool so much I wash my hair almost every other day so using an iron can be damaging. I towel dry and then apply a leave in conditioner and not your mothers curl Cream. If I’m going out I apply the garnier anti frizz cream! If I feel like being extra I’ll do my hair with the curling iron. And on extra hot days messy bun since my hair is so long.

my summer beach hair style is a simple high bun. its comfortable in the heat and does not bother me as my hair is extremely long, i only just use a lightweight softening shine serum and that is it. (rusk). my low effort high impact makeup is doing a thick long glitter liner and then a thin short black eyeliner with it. it instantly makes me look so much prettier. i use stila for this.

I have similar issues with hair styling. I really like the braid method along with the cute scarf scrunchie. These look great compared to my old head bands. Kind of an old fashion girl. Very helpful and interesting.
