Nature’s Elements (Water, Fire, Earth) 3 Looks / 1 Palette

Now here’s what I call channeling nature in a look. On Instagram, I’ve always shared that nature has inspired my sense of style, but little known fact--it inspires my makeup look from time to time too!
I’ve put together three eye looks from the BH Cosmetics Desert Oasis Palette that all resemble nature’s elements (well--at least 3 of them). P.S. the brush I’m using is the E 25 blending brush from SIGMA.
💧 Look 1 - Water:
1. Start with Turquoise (the lightest shade of the look) in the inner corner of the eye--apply until about ½ to ¾ of the eye is filled with the shade
2. Hot Spring is what you want to use next. About right down the center of the eye, start shading with this until you just about reach the outer edge
3. When you start to get to the outer edge, pick up on Nightscape.
4. Slowly start to bring it into the crease, not all the way, however.
🔥 Look 2 - Fire:
1. When we draw fire, we always start with the lightest color, which is a yellow! Similarly, we’ll start by filling the inner corner of the eye with the yellow shade, Bliss.
2. Then, about ⅓ of the way, start with Heat Haze, a nice, fiery red (it could even be close to a burgundy, depending on the angle you view it from).
3. The darkest of the darks comes now--we put an end to it with Prickly Pear.
🌎 Look 3 - Earth:
1. For this one, we are going to create a base/foundation of a solid brown, which is Nightscape.
2. Wait, but isn’t the Earth mostly green? Yes--it is! We’ve got Cactus to add to the look now, which is a beautiful mix of shimmery (mostly) green, brown, gold, and silver.
3. For the outer edge, we’re adding Prickly Pear, and bringing this into the crease. This time, it doesn’t really matter how far in you go!
That’s it! Super simple--3 looks, each using 3 shades from the BH Cosmetics Desert Oasis Palette to achieve a beautiful, nature-inspired look!
Let me know which one you’ll be trying first!

While i absolutely love the freshness of the water look, and earthy are ALWAYS my go-to's i really like the look of fire! Not sure how it will look on me and my cool skin tone but i think i'm going to have to give it a try!!

    🤍❤️🤍wish I had this❤️😩😩😩

I would've wanted to recreate the earthy look (look 3) since being natural is the key for me. As for the lipstick shade, I would've used coral pink and light brown for the blush in order to bring out my cheekbones.

what a great, multi-idea color collection. You achieved three great looks, and i love/like them all! I love the shades. They would look great with my eye color (green/golden) as some shades make look hideous, lol. i love number 3 look, although they are all lovely. Oh, i want to get, Earth, first to try, but all of the looks are great! thank you for your interesting, inspiring, looks you created. what a great product!

I like all 3 looks but I would go for fire and I would pair it with some light colored blush and Lipgloss, thanks for going through all 3 of the looks and giving great review

OMG I really love all the looks. Earth 🌎 has its beautiful earthy tones, water 💦 has wonderful blues that are a great look for any occasion. Fire 🔥 is definitely my favorite look. Yellows and reds have always been some of my favorite shadows!

I absolutely love this palette! So awesome to incorporate the elements and nature into your looks.I would love to recreate this look. Thank you for walking us through all the steps and making it seem so simple! Usually working with eyeshadow scares me but this gives me hope in myself :')

  • Leanna Bassich

That's pretty on you. I'm a blonde so I think I could pull that off! I could recreate that with the millions of eyeshadows that I have. I don't have that pallette though.

  • Serena

Malkiva great video. Nature and the elements make for great inspiration. I love how one 🎨 can create so many different looks and you show us exactly which shade goes into each and how and where to apply it. I want to give a shout-out to your hair which is beautiful btw. It was a tough call but I’m going with 🔥. Along with the shadows I would use the Morphe Master Blush Palette(8W Warm) and a little bit of OFRA’s highlighter (All of the Lights). Wander Beauty’s Lipsetter Dual Lipstick and Liner (Sweet Seul) on lips and top it off with Sleek MakeUP’s Major Morphosis Lip Strobe (Freak Like Me) because of its rose/gold finish!

  • Shelby Rodenberg

    Love the color

  • Kayleigh crane

look #2 is "fire" I love natural subtle looks like that. They seem to bring out more of a natural beauty essence which I feel is what we all should be going for in order to love our self more. Def. would recreate this look & plan to in the near future!

  • Barbie

💙 these. I'm blonde so they would work for my color and skintone as well I think. Their very pretty

  • Naf

Nice, love this idea! I'd like to recreate all of them but I think I'll first do the fire one just because it's more appealing to me.

  • Angela

I would do Earth ... probably with a neutral cheek color & some kind pinkish neutral (maybe?) lip. I like all 3 though.
