WHAT I EAT IN A DAY:
When it comes to food here are 3 things I try to do daily:
1. Make foods that excite me and that I look forward to 🤩
1. Make sure I’m getting adequate macro nutrients as well as nutrient dense foods 🥕
2. Make sure it takes no longer than 30 minutes to prepare ⏰
If I’m being honest I really don’t like unhealthy foods. Not only does it make me feel bad but I actually prefer the taste of healthy foods!! I think once you begin eating healthy your body naturally adjusts and craves healthy foods. However some foods I thoroughly enjoy that probably aren’t the best for me:
- anything from the brand “lesser evil” my favorite being “Himalayan gold popcorn” which I’ve definitely finished in one sitting. 🍿
- I like an occasional glass of wine 🍷
- Some days I eat probably a half cup of peanut butter when a heaping tablespoon would have done the trick 🥜
What I do: allow my body to tell me what it needs while being disciplined to meet my self half way. This way I’m pleasing myself both emotionally and physically with nutrient dense foods but also with my cravings 💛
