Are you ready to do a serious clothing haul🛍?
I did a little Fashionpass try-on! It's a really cool company that lets you rent clothes from your favorite brands. For the first time since its launch in 2016, I'm using Fashionpass' clothing rental service.
💗 The clothes were cute, girly, and classy💁🏼♀️. I love the blush neutral tones. I especially love the hot pink "vacation" look near the end🏖.
👔👗What Are Fashionpass Brands and Styles?
Their brands include Donna Mizani, Adina's Jewels, and Bobi. Brands like Levi’s, Rebecca Minkoff, ASTR, Show me your Mumu, and Free People, are also available.
There are FashionPass dresses for vacations, springs, weddings, brunch, bridal outfits, date nights, runway shows, or just casual wears.
💸 What Are Fashion Pass Plans?
The clothing rental service gives you three monthly plan options. Below are the plans💲:
👉The Socialite plan: Two clothing items with 1 accessory are $79 a month
👉The Trendsetter: Three clothing items with 2 accessories are $109 a month
👉Wanderlust: Four clothing items with 3 accessories are $139 a month
Also, for any additional items, it'll be $11.95. For each rental, they provide you with the shipping labels and packages. All you have to do is drop the items off at the nearest FedEx location.
Below are the pros:
✅ You can cancel your plan at anytime
🚢Free shipping: That’s right! Your subscription also covers your shipping fee to anywhere in the US. You get free shipping both ways, which means, receiving and sending back.
👨⚖️Free counselling: A stylist is available to help you make the right choice of outfit.
🧼Free dry cleaning: Do not worry about the cost of cleaning the clothes. All dry cleaning bills are on the company.
💰Free Insurance
💵Once you use the FashionPass promo code; WELCOME, you get a certain amount (presently $10) off your first trial.
💸A 30% discount on outfits if you decide to purchase them eventually.
The best thing about Fashionpass is it lets you swap out your items whenever you want😊.
Now for the cons, I promise they are not that bad. First, they only ship in the United States. Next, because it's a rental, you can't tailor the clothes, but you can return them if they don't fit.
The last con is you have to send all of the clothes back at the same time. You can't keep one item and send the rest back. If you hold one longer, they'll charge you for keeping the item.
🤔How does FashionPass work?
To become a part of this huge fashion move, you need to choose the most convenient plan for yourself and subscribe to it. This automatically makes you a member. Easy, right? No filling of unending forms, signing of affidavits or bringing collateral. Haha.
When you become a member, you can scan the website and pick some outfits. Even better, you are entitled to a stylist who can help you make the best decisions. When you have confirmed your orders, they will be delivered to you, and you can hold on to them as long as you want, as long as your plan is still active. If this isn’t the most amazing information you’ll hear today!
Who is their audience?
This company targets young adults; older teenagers and women in their early 30s. If you fall under this category, and you are always on the move, then this might be a simple, more affordable option for you to consider. Talk about slaying on a budget!
🆚 FashionPass vs rent the runway
Rent the runway pioneered the entire idea of clothes sharing in 2009. However, they appear to be more inclined toward business/corporate outfits. FashionPass on the other hand is more inclined to younger fashion minds who are more likely to be more daring with their fashion choices.
🆚 Fashionpass vs. Nuuly
Both subscriptions were great, but I love Fashionpass way more💖. For one their monthly prices are cheaper than Nuuly💲 and I found the clothes more fashionable🥻.
Nuuly clothes are more for everyday wear. These are outfits you would wear while running errands or watching TV.
But, with Fashionpass, you can find an outfit for every occasion. You can find the perfect outfit whether you're attending a wedding or going on a date.
Moreover, the Fashionpass app offers a simpler user interface and is easier to use. So, that's a plus for me!
