Hi everyone!
Today I want to talk about and review the Touch In Sol No Porblem Prime Essence. I was luckily enough to receive this in a tester bag, and am super excited to share my experience with you! Now let's get started...🌟
🌸What is it? With Calendula flower extracts, this Essence is supposed to minimize pores and smooth your skin, leaving you looking flawless and dewy! You can use it on its own as the last step to your skincare to provide extra hydration and dewiness OR they say you can pair it up with the No Pore Blem Primer to create the perfect canvas.
💄Packaging/Application: So I will say the outside of this product is very cute! I love the pink, sleek packaging. It would be very easy to travel with if needed. BEWARE that this product is VERY watery!! I was not expecting that at all and I ended up making a mess when I went to use it for the first time. When I applied it to my skin I noticed that takes a good minute to rub it in and get it to soak into the skin. Once on, I noticed the side of my face that had the essence on it was really tacky, and the tackiness doesn't go away. I also didn't find that it applied very well with the No Pore Blem Primer. With the essence, the primer did not want to go into my skin at all! I had to really work it into my skin.
💥Essence+Primer VS. Essence Only
I feel like the half of my face with the essence only is definitely dewier than the side with the primer. The Primer side is more smooth though. The primer really helped get rid of that tackiness. I also think my skin looks better on the primer side. I really don't think the essence alone smoothed out my skin at all as it claims. Just made it look dewier and feel tacky (which I don't really like). And keep in mind the Essence makes it a lot harder to blend in primer (which is not necessarily bad, but, can be annoying especially if you're in a hurry). Personally I'll have to say that the primer side looks much much better. So far the essence isn't wowing me at all. Let's see how both sides look with foundation!
🎨Essence+Primer side W/ Foundation:
Just in case your curious, the foundation I'm using today is the Dior Forever Skin Matte Foundation (and there's a review on my profile for this foundation if you guys want to check it out). On this side with primer, I noticed the foundation went on smoothly, with no issues. Which is awesome! And any dewiness I had on that side of my face was gone.
🎨Essence Only W/ Foundation:
On this side of my face is where I ran into problems. The foundation caked up a little and settled into some places on my face. That's a problem I never run into, so I was surprised when it happened. Also, my skin on this side stayed dewy.
Now let's see how the foundation held up after a few hours..
After a couple hours, both sides of my face were really dewy. The primer side definitely stayed smoother and overall just looked better. On the other side with the essence only, the foundation only caked more and settled more into my skin! And keep in mind, I only had this on for a couple hours and stayed indoors the entire time! So to me, that kind of performance is unacceptable 🙅🏻♀️. I have oily skin and live in the desert, so I could only imagine what my face would look like had I gone out!
Here's a close up of the essence only side so you can better see what I mean⬇️⬇️

💭My Final Review: Just save your money! Honestly, I was very disappointed in the results of this product. I have oily skin, so maybe this will work much better for someone who has dry skin. If you do use it, I don't recommend using it with any makeup products. It's probably best off as a last step to your skincare. I felt like it did nothing for my pores or smooth my skin like it claimed to do. I also didn't like that after only a couple of hours my face looked bad! Having oily skin I need products that keep me looking good for hours on! Didn't care for how watery it was either. Did not expect the mess I made with it. The only pro is that if you want dewy skin for the day, this would be a good product, but only as long as you don't put makeup over it.
