I wanted to put this out today because many of us will be getting dressed up for parties in or outside of our homes tonight and tomorrow to celebrate the beginning of a new year! I’m sure many of my PrismPop Family will wearing some glittery eyeshadows or lipsticks/glosses tonight
Glitter has been around in various forms since ancient times, but modern glitter wasn’t invented until the 1930’s. It didn’t become popular in women’s makeup until the 60’s and its popularity hasn’t really waned much since.
One ☝🏻 other thing hasn’t changed, that’s how difficult it is to remove glitter, especially without scratching your face or getting in your eyes, which can be very dangerous. This shouldn’t stop anyone from enjoying it however! Just remember to follow my tips and check online if you have specific skin type concerns.
⭐️First, consider buying chunky glitter makeup products over fine ones. You’ll find that the chunkier the better when it comes to ease in removing Starting with cellophane or medical grade tape and remove as much loose glitter as you can by gently rolling it over
⭐️The importance of starting your cleansing with a Waterproof Micellar Water is because it gently breaks down and lift away impurities and makeup, including the glitter, without rubbing.
⭐️When it comes to the next step, using an oil cleanser, it’s very important to buy one that’s right for your skin type.
⭐️It’s optional as to whether you will want to or even need to use an additional gentle liquid cleanser or more Micellar Water after you’ve gone through these steps.
