Hey guys! I know I have not been posting as often lately. The holiday season gets so busy especially as I’m running a small business! 😱 However… I did make time FINALLY to try out my free Sephora birthday samples from all the way back in July! 😅 Tatcha has been a brand I have seen so much all over social media this year so these samples came at the perfect time as I was getting curious. 😉
As winter approaches (it literally just snowed yesterday!! ❄️), my skin starts to demand some extra attention and love! Between eczema, chapped lips, and dry, flakey facial skin, my skin can get bad in the cold months. 🥶 Each of these products are built to bring healing hydration to the face! So really… I put off trying these out until the perfect time!
Q & A
Question: Is Tatcha a clean brand?
Answer: Yes!! This amazing and beautifully designed brand makes all their products with natural and effective ingredients!
Question: Is Tatcha considered a luxe brand?
Answer: Their product design definitely gives off that luxe vibe! And yes! This brand is a luxury ski brand that has been growing in popularity!
Question: What makes a brand luxe?
Answer: Brands that are considered luxe generally are very high quality and exclusive. Along with that, these brands usually come with a higher price tag. However, I appreciate that Tatcha keeps their skincare on the more affordable side!

How I tested…
When I FINALLY opened this up (😂), I used the skincare daily for a week. The primer didn’t have as much so I was able to use it twice but I tested it with a full face of makeup for a whole day! Let’s dive into the reviews!
The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser
👍🏻Good for treating: Dryness
🧖🏼♀️Skin type: Dry, combo, and normal
💜The formula is so creamy and pleasant
💜Leaves my skin feeling soft and clean
💜Not drying at all!
💜Vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free
💜Uses Japanese algae, Hyaluronic acid, and their signature Hadasei-3
💜Clean skincare brand that is affordable
💜Absolutely gorgeous packaging
💜Definitely has a luxe feel and look
❌I am very happy with this product so I personally have no complaints
❌Reading other’s reviews, do have a care in you have sensitive skin. This cleanser does not seem to work the best for this skin type.
I had a great experience with this cleaner. I love the texture and the lovely lather it creates. It smells pleasant but not strong and my face felt wonderful after. I’m not dealing with any skin concerns other than dryness right now so I can’t speak to how it works against breakouts or the like… but I can tell you that my skin looks and feels so much fresher when I use this cleanser!
The Rice Wash For A Soft Luminous Complexion
The Dewy Skin Cream
👍🏻Good for treating: dryness (plumps and hydrates)
🧖🏼♀️Skin type: Normal and dry
💜The cream is rich and luxurious… I loved the feel of this and how it just melts into my skin
💜Treats dullness, dryness, uneven texture, loss of firmness, and elasticity
💜 Packed with incredible ingredients such as Japanese purple rice, Okinawa algae blend, Hyaluronic acid, ginseng, wild thyme, and sweet marjoram
💜Cruelty-free and gluten-free
💜Replenishes the skin’s natural moisture reservoir leading to more hydrated skin
💜Enables skin to recover from and protects against damage from stress, pollution, and UV rays
💜Replenishes ceramides in the skin for firmer appearance
❌The price is higher than I normally pay for moisturizer
This is by far my favorite product in this sample set! It just melts into my skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and revitalized! I noticed that my skin appeared less irritated and dry almost immediately! This is an incredible product for dry skin if you don’t mind the higher price tag! However, it will be too oily for anyone with combination or oily skin so I would look elsewhere if that is your skin type.
Limited Edition Dewy Skin Cream
The Liquid Silk Canvas
👍🏻Good for: minimizing pores
🧖🏼♀️Skin type: oily, combination, and normal
💜A clean and cruelty-free product
💜Provides a very natural finish
💜Smooths skin nicely
💜Provides long lasting wear
💜Uses silk powder to diminish pores, fine lines, and other imperfections
💜Reduces appearance of pores, redness, dullness, and uneven texture
❌I genuinely have no complaints
I loved how well this primer worked for me in spite it being made for a different skin type. You can see in my pictures how smooth and even my skin looks with it on versus the side I did not use it! I used the same makeup on each side and this primer even helps cheap foundation apply and last like more expensive brands. I think the higher price is worth it for this reason because you can save in other areas!
The Liquid Silk Canvas Primer Full Size Featherweight Protective Primer

I found all the products worked wonderfully for my skin so I highly recommend these products for anyone with dry skin!
