Hi everyone! I would like to share a share a simple dish that I’ve been making since forever that everyone enjoys, even kids who won’t eat their veggies!
If you aren’t into bacon or if you’re vegan/vegetarian, don’t fret - this recipe is super versatile, and you can add/omit virtually anything you want!
For this recipe, you will need:
- a large bunch of brussel sprouts
- about a dozen strips of bacon
- garlic and cooking oil
- seasonings (salt, pepper, sugar, anything your heart desires!)
- any type of vinegar or lemon juice
After washing the brussel sprouts and cooking the bacon, add garlic to a pan with a couple cups of oil. Then stir in the brussel sprouts and season. Cook for a bit before adding the bacon, and if you sense that the brussel sprouts are getting dry, you can always add a splash of water to create a steaming effect. Once everything is cooked to your likings, that’s all there is and your dish is ready!
Tip: keep checking and taste-testing to make sure the texture of the brussel sprouts is just right!
