Hi there,
It’s officially summer right now in everywhere!!! Unlike last year, here in LA where I live everything is opening back for business and fun, so you know what that means when we all dive into the fun this summer: WEAR YOUR SPF!!! 🌞🌞🌟
Yes we all know how SPF is important to our skin to be the protecting barrier agaisnt the sun and all that, but not every sunscreen brands have the right amount of SPF suitable for us when we applied on our skin. So today I have two recommendations ( and also two I have and used the most) sunscreen that I’ve tried and really like it:
- Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ ( Jumbo Size 100ml/ 3.38fl oz): compare to other sunscreen I have used, this have more pros than cons. The pros is that it is pretty lightweight once you spread it out across your face and it dries down pretty quick, good for when you’re in a hurry and still need to apply/ reapply. The cream comes out not too liquidy and easy to spread. When I switched to this brand, I also notice that it’s not too oily or makes my face become oily as fast as other brands ( taken from an extremely oily skin girl!) so that’s a huge plus. I haven’t tested it out in the water yet so I can’t claim that it’s water-resistant but it does a great job preventing sunburnt on dry lands! It also doesn’t smell like the typical sunscreen smell but pretty fresh, like a normal gel face cream. The bottle after you’re done using is also recyclable. The cons: it leaves a white cast when you first apply or spreading it out ( but it disappears in like 10 mins tho!) and the hefty price tag ( 42$ for a 100ml bottle), a lot higher than other brands so it’s depends on your budget. If you still want to try, I recommend getting them in a special offer bundle with other items on a heavy discount ( this is what I did) or wait for sale. Biossance webstie has these special offers and sales all the time on their site!! 😍💸💸
- Banana Boat Ultra Sport Clear Sunscreen Spray SPF 100 ( 6fl oz/ bottle): i bought the spray type so it’s pretty convenient on the road for quick application. The bottle is nice, recyclable because it’s a tin type. It has high SPF amount and sweat proof ( since it’s for when you’re playing sport in the sun ☀️). The spray is easy to control the amount and it’s a very mild spray, almost like a mist so it doesn’t just blow right on your skin. The smell is pretty typical sunscreen-ish smell, for me I don’t have a problem with that since it’s onyl use for my body, but that could be an issue for you if yoh hate that smell. This also dried down fast. In general, I’ve almost finish this bottle and I like it a lot, not much to complain here! 👍
So that’s ny review/ recommendation for you this summer. Have fun, stay safe and don’t forget to use your SPF! Sunburnt or even skin cancer is much more expensive to treat than just buying sunscreen! This is just my two recommendations but you could go with anything you’d prefer, as long as you using it because the best sunscreen the one you actually use!! 😂🌟
And what about you? What are you currently using and do you have any recommendations for me to try out? It’s summertime so I always on the search for the next one to try so just share it! Let’s talk! 🤗
I’ll see you in my next post and always remember to spread the love! ❤️❤️❤️
