Top 4 Lip Glosses for Summer | My Non-Sticky Glossy Lip Collection 👄💦
views · 05-17-2022
A juicy, glossy lip goes perfectly well with the heat recently ☀️ so I wanted to share the most used glossy lip products from my collection! I know not everyone likes lip glosses because they are notorious for being sticky, messy, and the main reason I find hair stuck in or on my mouth. But the 4 products here are the most comfortable ones I’ve ever tried!
🍒 Colourpop Lip Tint Crayon | $8 🍒
Shade: Cherry Pickin’ - sheer honey nude lipstick
Texture: Lightweight lip balm
Smell: Fruit candy 🍬
Longevity/Transfer: 2/5, definitely not transfer-proof
I carry this around so much that the text on it has faded 😅. I would recommend this to someone who doesn’t mind re-applying throughout the day and want something affordable
🍩Em Cosmetics True Gloss | $20 🍩
Shade - Caramel Glaze - sheer warm brown
Texture: Thick lip gloss texture, non-sticky once applied, slight pumping effect
Scent: Vanilla, sweet 🍦
Longevity/Transfer: 1/5 not transfer-proof at all but wears off evenly
This is my favorite pale nude lip gloss, perfect when paired with a more intense eye look! According to Em Cosmetics “A lip-plumping peptide complex helps stimulate collagen production while giving the appearance of smoother, fuller lips (you may experience a slight tingle)”. I notice the tingle and it does smooth out some of my minor lip lines.
🌰Lancome L'absolu Lacquer Gloss | $26🌰
Shade - 274 Beige Sensation - rosy brown nude
Texture: Lightweight Semi-sheer gloss, can be layered easily
Scent: Light floral 🌹
Longevity/Transfer: 4/5 This gloss self-sets into a glassy film-like texture so the transfer is even and light.
This is a recent buy and it quickly became a favorite! I believe this is a universally flattering shade and goes well with any lip color. This shade is also very very popular, I see why! Highly recommend if you’re interested in getting your first “high-end” lip gloss
🍑Urban Decay Vice Lip Chemistry Lasting Glassy Tint | $22 🍑
Shade - Physique - peachy nude (it deepens bit after 5 minutes due to it’s adapting PH level technology)
Texture:- Similar to the Lancôme one, it is lightweight and settles into a non-sticky layer, love this technology
Scent: Light fruity 🍑
Longevity/Transfer: 5/5 A clear winner in longevity as you can see from the blot test!
On me, this is a MLBB lip shade. I have seen other reviews online and the color looks a bit different on everyone, which is amazing! This Glassy Tint also has some staining power, so even if the glossy layer wears off, the stain remains to keep my lips looking juicy!
Hope this post helped you find a new lip gloss to try! Let me know what you think and what are your lip products this summer⛱
