I am known as the plant lady. I spent 12 years living in New York City and just recently moved to San Diego. When I was in New York City I had over 20 indoor plants in my apartment. My apartment was my jungle.
I have started to acquire plants in San Diego and I can tell you a little bit about some of my favorites. I have three hanging plants which I love because they give your room color up high and are very stylish. I have a which is a Tradescantia Zebrina species of spider wort known as an inch plants and I also have a string of bananas succulent. It is important that the succulents do not receive too much water and have a lot of exposure to light it is best if you can choose a location that receives at least six hours of sunlight throughout the day for the string of bananas.
I also have a Dracaena trifasciata which is native to Tropic west Africa and is most commonly known as the snake plants or mother-in-law‘s tongue. I love the snake plant because it really does not need a lot of maintenance to flourish. I also have a fiddle fig which is nice and tall and has beautiful shiny leaves. I’m excited because they can grow up to 15 m tall.
I also have small potted plants throughout the house which are great for tables and dressers. Even my fish has plants, my fish has moss balls and bamboo. I make sure to use potting soil for my plants and spray their leaves as well. I find that singing a song or two also helps them grow and be happy. I hope you all enjoy the plants in your life. #plantparent #prismpopofficial #prismpoptester
