Hey everyone!
Highlighter is my favorite type of makeup, but with my complexion, finding the right one is tricky because the metallic elements can make me look a little ghostly π».
To show you what I mean, I'm trying on 3 different kinds of highlighters to see how they compare!
1. Space Cosmetics "Seen From Space" - π This is a pink-peach and looks great and subtle when a small amount is applied. When I started layering it on, it started to have that greyish effect.
2. Coloured Raine "Your Treat" - π This one is more of a bronze/brown, and despite my skin being brown this didn't look very natural. It sat on top of my skin and very much looked like makeup instead of highlighting aspects of my bone structure.
3. Shaina B. "Beachy" - π The yellow gold of this definitely made me look like I just came back from the beach. I loved how this one was effective but not too noticeable.
I would say the warm tones of the Shaina B highlighter was my favorite, with the peachy-toned Space Cosmetics coming in a close second.
