Pre-COVID, a lot of my life was traveling and playing shows. Because I have a lot of equipment, I have to pack super light, so I am super selective with things like clothes and makeup.
In order to get a unique stage look without bringing much, I use the NARS Taj Mahal Blush on my eyes, cheeks, and lips.
After applying concealer, foundation, and mascara, I use the NARS blush as intended, with a blush brush.
Next, I apply the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion to my eyelids and apply the blush with a concealer brush to my eyelids as an eyeshadow.
I then put a heavy layer of Carmex Lip Balm on my lips, and use the same concealer brush to dab the blush on top. The Carmex gives it a lip glossy look. This, combined with the shimmer of the blush, gives stage lights a lot to play with and accentuates by speaking and singing.
Why do I use a concealer brush on my lips and lids? Mainly because I'm impatient and I feel like it gets the product on faster and heavier - which is what I want when I'm trying to exaggerate the orange/redness of the product.
What makeup do you guys use multiple ways?
