Oh K! Beauty is new to me! But as a Korean-American, I always love seeing more K-Beauty in the U.S. market!
I’ve grown up with K-Beauty (though I just called it skincare growing up haha), and this is a super playful twist on the products I saw as a young girl adoring her mother’s skincare collection.
✨Glowing Moisturizer with Citrine✨
The moisturizer has a lovely texture and it absorbs really well into the skin. I like that it’s thick enough to feel like it’s creating a good layer of moisture to lock in my other skincare products without feeling like it’s just sitting on top of my skin! It’s light enough to use in the summer without feeling like it’s not moisturizing my skin! It’s called the “chok-chok” moisturizer. “Chok-Chok” in Korean means moisturized/damp, and I would agree that it leaves my skin moisturized! The only downside with this product is that there is fragrance in it, which is something I try to avoid in my skincare.
✨Masks, Masks, Masks!✨
The Peppermint Foot Mask was such a treat!
I’ve been spending a lot of time walking on the beach (with a mask on and far away from people of course), and as nice as it’s been, it’s left my feet looking not so great. This mask helped my feet feel more clean and soft, woohoo!
The Watermelon Vitamin C mask was something I was looking forward to because I love vitamin C. However, I noticed that after using the mask, I had a few red patches on my face. I checked the ingredients and realized that there was fragrance in them, something my sensitive skin doesn’t love. I would love if they released a mask without fragrance so I could try it out!
🤍Thanks for reading my thoughts, I’d love to hear yours! Have you tried this brand? What are you most interested in trying?
