I’ve recently been learning a lot about harmful chemicals that are put into our cosmetic and beauty products. So I’ve been slowly making the switch to non toxic beauty! My most recent swap was my hair care routine! And so far I’m loooooving the results 😍
As a curly girl, my scalp can get a lot of build up on it and that mixed with harmful chemicals leaves me with a not so happy scalp 🙅🏽♀️👎🏽 so here’s my most recent wash&go routine that leaves my curls poppin and my scalp super happy✨
Step 1: Wash your hair
Step 2: Condition your hair
Step 3: Gently detangle your hair in the shower with the conditioner STILL in your hair
Step 4: Rinse out the conditioner
Step 5: In the shower, with soaking wet hair, rake through with your fingers a generous amount of the whipped cream texture into your hair. (It says to use a quarter size amount but tbh I always use waaaayyy more than it says 😂)
Step 5: Put a couple pumps of gel into your hair. You don’t need a lot of this gel because it has a really strong hold!
Step 6: Plop your hair with a t-shirt and leave it on your hair for at least 30 minutes. I always use a t-shirt because it helps to minimize frizz 👌🏽
Step 7: Finally, diffuse your hair! I use a Dyson hair dryer because it helps to minimize frizz and I can dry my hair soooo much quicker!!
Do you use any non toxic hair care!? If yes, I’d love to know what brands you use!! #scalphealth #haircare #haircareroutine #curlyhair #wash&go
