For this routine, all the products I used were from a brand called Maxius Hair. I was shocked that I was able to finish off these almost professional looking curls in 8 minutes. I’m going to have to remember to do this when I’m in a rush to head to an event (whenever in the future that should happen, haha).
Here’s the breakdown:
1 minute: Rub a styling serum (I used Beyond Straight by Maxius) on the ends of your hair mainly, and also a little near the scalp. Start heating your curler in the meantime.
1 minute: Brush through your hair gently. I used this Oval Brush.
5 minutes: Once the curler is heated, you can start to wrap each section of hair on the curler, starting with the hair closer to your face. You don’t have to worry too much about burning yourself; the heatguard technology and silicon outer reduces the risk of accidental burns, so this SafeCurl Curling Wand is ideal for those who don’t have the time to be super meticulous when they’re curling. That being said, you still have to be a little careful.
**tip: I like to wrap in different directions as I’m curling because it gives off a more natural effect when the whole thing is done**
1 minute: Apply some sort of shine serum or oil to give the hair a nice, glossy finish. I used The End.
So the next time you’re in a rush to get ready, or when you suddenly realize that you (still) can’t hit the salon (...like most of us cannot right now), know that there’s still a solution to get gorgeous curls at the speed of light!
