First of all, I use my 5 pound weight for a light workout. Light workouts give you less of a risk of injury, and can still be effective.
Now, you can slide there weights on each sides of this bar to give you a good heavy workout. These clips also help keep the weights from falling off and hurting you. Safety first!
There is also a small version of it in my workout space. This one you can do easily with one or two hands for a better grip. Until you build some muscle, it’s safer to put light weights on this instead of heavy ones.
