No matter what kind of day I'm having...long, stressful, boring, tiring etc. I always look forward to that one part of my day that's all about destressing and relaxing. I love to come home and run the water in my tub for a bubbly spa night!
My secret to a successful bubble bath is wearing a face mask and following it with a serum and moisturizer for a healthy glow 🧜♀️. My 3 self-care moments are so easy to impliment in your own routine, and are sure to transform any night into your night.
1 [Face Mask] - After I cleanse my face I go straight to the Turmeric+Honey Reviving mask by Pearlessence which is my current favorite clay mask. The smell may not be for everyone, but it's so earthy, fresh, and totally devine to me. I let this dry on my face for 20-30 min while I soak my worries away in the bath🛁.
2 [Serum] -🔅 I'll admit I have way more serums than a girl needs...but will I stop buying them? Nooope! Whenever my skin feels extra dry or I use a clay mask I always opt for Nourish Organic's Argan Face Serum which is good for dry to normal skin. A little goes a long way with this formula, so I pump a dime sized amount and dab it on my forehead, cheeks and chin before rubbing into my face.
3 [Moisturizer] - Self-care is super important to me...althought my wallet may not like it! I try to have a range of different moisturizers on my shelf to use depending on how my skin is feeling or what mood I'm in for my spa night. A great moisturizer for dry skin (really any skin type) is MILK Makeup's Vegan Milk Moisturizer. In my photo I'm holding the travel size version but I plan on buying the full size when I run out. This moisturizer has no scent, and is extremely nourishing while leaving my skin free from any irritations🧖♀️.
These three self-care moments are so much fun to prep and so rewarding to experience. I would love to hear what your evening routine looks like! Comment your favorite face masks, serums, or moisturizers down below ⬇️
