DISCLAMER. The post is based on my own opinion and experience. It might not work for you. The product were purchased with my money. Not sponsored.
🚩FIRST STEP - Cleansing
It doesnt matter if you just wake up and feel that your face should clean from last night. It is still better to rinse it off quickly, if you are in a rush (or have kids like me😆). Clean face is crucial before layering your skincare products. So all of the product you apply, will work properly on your skin.
✅NEUTROGENA FRESH FOAMING CLEANSER
I have been using this cleanser for a pretty long time. I dont have foundation, only mascara. So it works pretty well on removing my mascara. If you want to remove the rest of your make up, I would suggest to double cleanse. Means that you use cleansing balm, oil or water to melt make up and then use a foaming face wash.
I have read many negative reviews about this cleanser. It could irritate or make your skin drier. BUT. I do have sometime a squicky feeling on my face if I just leave alone to complete dry out.
TIP. Use a toner after each time you cleanse your face. What toner I use is in the next step of this post. Apply it on a damp skin. Not wet. Moist after cleansing, but not completely dried out.
🚩SECOND STEP - TONE
I have been using ✅INNISFREE GREEN TEA HYDRATING TONER for a month no
I ordered thru Sephora. It was a little bit expensive (6fl oz for $19). I wanted to try this brand for a pretty long time.
It smells fo good. I love it. Very fresh green tea scent. It is also hydrating like it states on the package. The best is to apply it on the damp skin. I dont feel any squicky feeling after foaming cleanser at all. It calms and makes my skin appear smoother.
TIP. Apply your toner with your fingers, skin using a cotton pad, so then you dont waste the product.
🚩THIRD STEP - SHEET MASK
I follow this step every other day or when I feel like doing it.
A 15 min sheet mask is a perfect way to start your day. Especially, when I wake up to a puffy face, I will run to my fridge and pick up a sheet mask.
At the moment I use Korean brands like
Esfolio, The Creme shop, It's skin. All could be found at Marshall's or Tjmaxx. I will write another post reviewing those ones.
The one that I used in the post is
✅ESFOLIO COLLAGEN ESSENCE SHEET MASK
It just soaks in the essence. After I am done with the mask, I don't throw it away. I put back to pouch and pop it to the fridge and reused in the evening. It's just so much essence 😆
TIP1. I keep my masks in the fridge. A cool mask helps with puffiness and creates a refreshing feeling on my skin.
TIP2. Make sure to pat essence from the mask to your skin. Also check the pouch that your mask was in. There is LOTS of essence, which you can apply into your face too.
My skin after I took the sheet mask off. No filters, natural sunlight.
🚩FOUTH STEP - MOISTURIZE
I live in California and pretty hot in summer (it lasts starting April to September). So I choose a lightweight emulsion
✅It's Skin Collagen Nutrition Emulsion
PROS. Lightweight, suitable for my skin, doesn't create an oily thin layers on my face, nice fragrance (some reviews said that it is disturbing, but I love it, it is kinda floral scent).
The Emulsion can be found at Marshall's or Tjmaxx, iHerb or Korean selling skincare websites (for example JOLSE.COM)
