Hey, guys, it's been a minute - but I wanted to share my first bath bomb experience with you! I take baths frequently but rarely use bath bombs. No particular reason, I just never really saw the need.
When I get ready for a bath, I usually light a scented candle and put a scoop of dead sea salt in the bathwater. Tonight I tried out one of Bubbly Belle Bath bombs! This was a gift set from Amazon priced at $25. It comes with a set of twelve.
First look/unboxing: The scent that came from the box was amazing. Transported me directly to a spa environment! Each bath bomb was labeled with a different name (such as Zen, Heal, Destress, etc) and has its own unique splash of colors. I couldn't wait to see what would happen when I dropped them in the bathwater
During usage: I picked out the Zen bath bomb, it was purple in color. The blend of the scents consisted of lemon, lavender, and orange pure essential oils with a whisper of sandalwood silk, black raspberry vanilla, and nag champa! Upon dropping the bath bomb into the water, it immediately started to fizzle and the coloring started to dye the clear waters. I couldn't stop watching it. At the very end I was met with a surprise! There was a little note that revealed itself after the bath bomb fully dissolved. It was a nice little touch like adding a Chinese fortune cookie at the end of a meal. With the nice words from the message strip, I dipped into the bathtub and soaked for a nice 30min.
Review: The scent of the bomb probably was the best, the essential oils leave your skin moisturized and smelling good!
