It’s no news that small businesses have been hit hard this pandemic. And with some LA resturants opening for outdoor dining, I wanted to share some of my favorite food spots (and dishes I like).

1. Picallili
Southeast Asian inspired dishes with a healthier twist. I’m usually cautious about “fusion” food so I was skeptical. But the flavors really came through and I was left satisfied.
Dishes:
- Miso Pork Jowl 🐷
- Thai Chicken Katsu 🍗
2. Sukiyuki
I discovered this pop-up through a fellow foodie. After seeing the photo, I can’t stop thinking about it 😂 So I followed them and eagerly waited for the next time they were taking orders, waited a week, and finally got to try. Did not disappoint! I will recommend this to anyone who likes wagyu :)
- Truffle Wagyu Sukiyaki Bowl (this is the cheaper of the two options! The other has uni and ikura) 🍱
3. H&H Brazilian Steakhouse
Oh, how I missed AYCE meats! Always my worry at AYCE places are the quality of the meat being sacrificed, not here though. They offer 16 different types of meat and a variety of organic salad and side dishes and of course, pão de queijo.
- Brazilian Churrasco 🥩
- Caipirinha 🍸
If you are in the LA area, consider ordering out from these places! What are your favorites in your city?
