My diet is not gluten-free but I like substituting bread with vegetables to make for a fun way to get all my servings of vegetables in and also make my meals more exciting when I am avoiding gluten. I take breaks from gluten when it starts to cause inflammation. Anyways, aren’t these sliders the adorable?! I think this is a cute idea for kids that may potentially convince them to try new vegetables! My suggestion would be to grill the mushrooms a bit with salt and pepper so they are more open to trying this.
I assembled these mini sliders by adding the Pure Farmland patties, tomato, radish greens, onion, mustard and ketchup inside Cremini mushroom tops. You may cook mushrooms if you want instead of serving then raw but just keep in mind this will make the burgers especially messy. Another great option is the sweet potato toast from my previous recipe video.
