Coming from California, beachy waves were always something I tried to achieve. Recently, the wet hair look has been trending, so I am here to share how I get a mermaid wet waves hair style!
After washing my hair, I will make sure I have done a middle part, and section the hair into two. I then create a space spot on either side, and leave it in for about an hour for a pretty loose waves, or longer for tighter waves. You can also get tighter waves by tying your hair tie a little bit tighter.
In order for this to last all day, you will need to use some kind of texturizing hairspray. I didn’t, but if you would like this to last longer than a few hours, then it helps to use a hairspray!
This is a great way to keep a little bit of your natural texture, but also get a little bit of fun curls in there too. We love heatless hairstyles, right?
