I wanted to do a colorful eye look and got inspiration from this coffee picture (slide 2) from my last PrismPop post! I love getting inspiration for makeup from everyday things, from sunsets or my outfits. I use pink shades often but rarely use greens but I ended up liking how they paired together!
To create this look, I used the NYX Ultimate Utopia palette and put a pinky-peach color on the crease. I then used a shimmery green shade all over my lids with a flat brush that I misted with the Trader Joe’s Rose Facial Toner to amplify the shimmer. I used an ivory shade under my brows to clean up my brows a little.
For the rest of my face, I applied the Sephora Bright Future Skin Tint under my eyes and any areas with redness. I filled in my brows mixing two eyeshadow colors (a dark brown and a black) from the NYX Ultimate Utopia palette. I used my Tarte bronzer in Hotel Heiress for bronzer and the Kyle Cosmetics Salted Caramel Kylighter as a cheekbone highlight. I used NARS Orgasm X for a little bit of blush.
I don’t usually use green eyeshadow but I actually have a palette with greens and blues (Colourpop’s Aura and Out) that I haven’t used yet. After doing this look, I want to experiment more with green eyeshadow! 💚
