Having to wear a mask everywhere we go can make wearing makeup a little discouraging. And I don't wear makeup everyday, but every so often I like to go out all done up, even if I'm just running to the grocery store. Countless times I'll leave the house and when I come back home, my whole face is gone. BUT I have been playing around A LOT and have finally found products and a new face routine that is MASK PROOF! And today I want to share it with you guys. ☺️✨
😷 Steps 😷
1.) I start off using the Hour Glass Mineral Veil Primer.
This primer is perfect because it is formulated to repel water, so when you get hot and sweaty under your makeup, the primer will help keep your face looking fresh! And if you have oily skin like me, this primer will become your holy grail! This will make your makeup last ALL day and has SPF in it.
2.) Now its time for foundation! I am using the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation (shade 2n1).
This is a full coverage, thick, matte foundation that claims to last 24 hours! It's oil free and oil controlling which is great! When you put this foundation on, it isn't going anywhere, especially under the mask! This foundation also holds up and stays matte and flawless in super humid weather! Not enough great things can be said about this product.👏🏼
3.) After putting on foundation, I go in with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
This is really going to set and lock the foundation into place. It claims to hold for 16 hours and keep you shine free! When I use this spray I really do notice a difference in the longevity of my makeup.
4.) I go ahead and apply my blush.
Today I used the Ofra Blush (Shade Winter Rose). I really like this blush because it's super blendable and I can control how much color is on my cheeks. I find this blush lasts on me the whole day and I never find myself having to reapply it.
5.) I now apply my mascara and today I chose the YSL Volumuzing Mascara.
This is not only great for volume, but for lengthening your lashes as well!!
6.) Now I'm ready to apply powder, and I'm using the Makup Forever Ultra HD Loose Powder.
This powder helps blur out your skin and keeps your makeup matte! This powder really sets and helps keep your makeup look good for a long time. It's been a favorite of mine for years now. Also, a little goes a long way, so this powder will last you forever!
7.) After I have my powder I want to go in with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, again, just to really make sure my makeup is 100% locked in.
Doing this will help ensure that your makeup doesn't go anywhere!
8.) When wearing a mask I don't worry about lip products. So I just use a balm, and I used the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Balm.

After about 7 hours of wearing a mask and being out, my makeup STILL looks fresh. I had like on the tiny dot on my mask after being in the heat all day. Which is amazing!!
