This popular perfume is one of my favorites, alongside Coco Mademoiselle Chanel and Burberry Brit for Her. I’m someone who almost never leaves the house without a small spray of fragrance and have been using many different brands and scents for years. Marc Jacobs’ Daisy has an unmistakeable, fresh and youthful classic scent that smells like flowers mixed with violet leaves to make a simple but playful bouquet. Knowing this, I was so happy to be able to get my hands on this Skies perfume before it was officially released. I was sent this by Marc Jacobs as a complimentary gift months ago, but this does not sway my opinions on the perfume and I will still be expressing my honest opinions.

❄️ When I’m looking for a new perfume,

I often look at the price first, then the key notes (scent), how long the perfume lasts and the amount in each bottle. I also prefer the fragrance to be able to be versatile and usable in every occasion! Price is pretty big for me in fragrance. I’m not a big fan of shelling out hundreds of dollars for an expensive perfume, so I typically stick with fragrance under $80 unless it’s gifted to me. My favorite scents and the key notes I often look for in fragrance are warm florals, sweet scents, or fruity scents. I’d prefer my perfume to last all day, but also being a faint and light scent. I have a sensitive nose and can’t stand an overload of fragrance, and I’m certain there are others like me. The amount is also really important to me - I’d be willing to pay more for more fragrance in a bottle and if it can last me a long time.

🦋 About Marc Jacobs Perfume (Skies)

Daisy Love Skies is a new fragrance launched in 2021! The main accords of this perfume are sweet, fruity, salty, mossy, vanilla, and floral. Top notes are Salt, Cloudberry and Raspberry; middle notes are Whipped cream, Daisy and Ambrette (Musk Mallow); base notes are Moss, White Woods and Amber. For 1.6 fl oz, it retails for $90. It comes in a glass container that has petals shaped into them and a daisy cap!

❄️ Pros:

- The scent is absolutely beautiful. It’s so dainty and reminded me of spring and the aroma of fresh picked daisies in a field of flowers.
- The first spray brings out the citrus and fruity notes, then it mellows out into a lovely and toned down smell.
- Great size, and contains a lot of product!
- The fragrance definitely lingers for a while. I can go through an entire day and the scent will stay on, not being too strong.

🦋 Cons:

- Quite a bit expensive, priced at $80. However, I think the size balances it out, so not really a con.

- Coco Chanel Mademoiselle
This is one of my favorite perfumes, which I also own! The key notes are similar to Daisy Love Skies, with fruity and floral accords. Vibrant orange, jasmine, and may rose are the middle notes. Finally, the scent unfurls with refined accents of patchouli and vetiver.

- Burberry Brit for Her

Another one of my favorites! This is a sweet floral fragrance with the key notes being pear, lime, and lemongrass, then almond and peony. It’s base notes are vanilla, amber, and tonka bean.

Smells sensual, elegant and ethereal
❌ 1.7 fl oz is $89 - about the same as Marc Jacobs, however reviews on Ulta claim that the price is not worth it.

🦋 Do I recommend Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Skies?

Yes, most definitely. I consider daisy love skies my signature scent at this point - I get many compliments and this perfume is quite worth it! Once you’ve finished the product, you can keep the packaging as decoration!
